If I could give this place negative stars I would. Trixie who works the front desk is incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I questioned the amounts she was charging me, and after that it went down hill. She would tell me my insurance wasn't active, when it was. She said i needed to pay completely out of pocket for all of my prenatal visits because i couldn't be trusted. She told me, it was people like me that caused them to be $40k in debt. She became very rude, refused to let me speak to the Dr. At this point I'm 22 weeks pregnant and she refused to let me be seen without literally paying her a couple thousand dollars. I called my insurance and was told all of my prenatal visits are covered and I just have a $30 co pay. I relayed the message to Trixie and she said she is charging me this amount because I'm difficult. She said normally people just pay and don't question the amount. I tried going to multiple different Dr's at this point because I needed to be seen. I was told by all of them I was too far along to be a new patient. If I really wanted to be seen I would just have to go to the emergency room, which i did. I had to go the rest of my pregnancy without any type of prenatal care. This was my first pregnancy and I spent countless nights in tears worried whether my baby was ok. My first pregnancy experience was completely ruined by this office. I had to go to one of those ultrasound places just so I could hear his heartbeat. I can't stress enough not to go to this office. It's too bad because I liked the Dr but his gatekeeper Trixie only allows people SHE likes in.

Dr. Moran always appeared very interested in my well being and took time to discuss my health conditions with me, as well as other concerns. He took me off the medication my primary care physician kept re-prescribing because recent research indicated I needed to take a break from it. I moved out of state shortly thereafter and got a new doctor. She agreed with Dr. Moran that I should have been taken off the medication. I am also very pleased with the results of the surgery he performed.

I loved Dr. Moran however two of his office staff including his main admin assistant gave me many issues and were rude to me so often it was uncomfortable for me to go to this office. But he was gracious enough to take me late in my pregnancy. The staff would call to change my appts to an earlier time and then I wouldn't be seen until after the original appt time and I rode 3 buses to get there. Dr. Moran did a wonderful job on my c-section. It healed great. He took good care of me during my pregnancy.

Dr Moran is great!! He really cares about his patients. I don't know why anyone speaks I'll of his staff or office manager, apparently his wife...he and they fought diligently with my insurance company....they were exhausted from that but smiled all the way! I am very grateful for him and them...Dr Moran is a good man and doctor....I would be honored to work beside him....I am an RN, not just a patient

The doctor and the medical staff were very rude to me, and the wait time to see the doctor was about 2 hours. During one of my treatments, Dr. Moran had the nerve to tell me that I was taking too much of his time up with this procedure he was doing for me. Later, I tried to see him for a 6 week follow up after my surgery however his office manager took my copay and then refused to allow me to have the doctor visit due to me owing some money that I wasn't even aware I owed until that day. I informed her of the financial difficulties I was having and I asked her if I could set up some kind of payment plan however she refused to set something up with me and she rudely told me that she did not want to have to chase me down for the money. Due to the cold way I was treated by the doctor and the office manager, I do not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Moran brought both of my Hyperemesis babies into the world between 2011 and 2014! My first pregnancy was a bit scary and I thank God Dr. Moran was my doctor. I truly believe he saved our lives. He keeps up to date with the ever changing medical field and has many years of experiences. He is kind, caring, and gentle. He is professional, yet very down to Earth; never rushes conversation and addresses any concern I may have.

This is the most quiet and peaceful office I've ever been to. The medical assistant is very soft spoken and made me feel at ease. The wait time was extremely short, I was still in the middle of paying my copay when the medical assistant called me to the back and I only had to wait a few minutes for the doctor to come into the exam room. Dr. Moran is the nicest doctor I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. He talked to me made sure I was completely comfortable before beginning my exam and he explain the entire procedure with extreme patience. I will be recommending him to everyone I met. He is my new favorite doctor and I look forward to seeing him for my 6 month hormone check!

Bills you more than one office copay if you talk about anything else during an annual exam! Office staff hounds you about billing when, in fact, it's an issue between them and the insurance company! Demands an office visit for a reoccurring issue that just needs a simple RX called in. He is all about the money! Rude staff to top it off!

Biography

My interest in medicine began while attending University of California, Davis. During my junior year of college, I volunteered in a student-run clinic that provides free primary health care services. I quickly realized that I enjoyed the medical setting and the opportunity to help people with healthcare issues. While attending the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, I discovered that Obstetrics/Gynecology was my favorite medical specialty. I began my Ob/Gyn residency at Kaiser Permanente’s Sunset Hospital in Los Angeles, California, in 1987. The Sunset program is a large, well-rounded and excellent residency program. I was able, to acquire many valuable and precise surgical techniques that help me provide the best care for my patients. Ever since the day I left the Central Valley to attend college, medical school and the Ob/Gyn residency program, I knew someday I would return. I was born and raised in Hanford, and I enjoyed and looked forward to returning to this area. After completing my residency program, I joined The Permanente Medical Group and have been practicing in the Fresno area since 1991. In 2010 I began working in private practice at Clovis Community Medical Center. I have specialized in low and high risk obstetrical care, basic infertility, gynecology, uro-gynecology, minimally invasive surgeries, and FDA-approved Bioidentical Hormones for over 27 years.I love being a physician. I enjoy the challenges of resolving or improving my patients’ medical condition. I believe the best quality of care is provided when I establish mutual trust with my patients. I sit down, listen carefully, and encourage my patients to tell me about their health concerns. Then, by using the most current Ob/Gyn technologies and techniques, I am able to diagnose and provide successful outcomes to their medical situation. I am confident that as my patient you will receive excellent care and will feel that all of your medical questions and health care needs have been addressed.
