I've been told he is a really good doc. with high success rates( of women get pg with his treatments). I just think that he is way too blunt and should a least act to care about the patient. I just hope that a have good luck with him!

He was the most unpleasant person i have yet to meet on this difficuilt road of infertility, he made me feel like i was not wirth his time and energy, to quote him "Drop 10lbs then come back in 3 months and we will see what I can do for you." He went on to tell me that if I can't help myself with my weight than he doesn't feel the need to help me bring a child into the world. To top it off the nurse had to draw blood and got it all over the place it was a nighmare, I never cried so hard in my life. Needless to say I never did make it to my follow up appointment. I think that if you have a heart of steel and don't mind being treated like crap than this is the doctor for you. Granted he knows his stuff he just doesn't connect with people on a personal level and you need that for this journey, so basically in my opinion the guy is a dick!

We initially went to Dr. Daly because he participated with our insurance. We were not pleased with how things went. His bedside manner has a lot to be desired which is not a good thing when dealing with something as emotional taxing as infertility. He seemed unapproachable. We felt like a number/statistic. He did not explain things well. We had to ask the office staff for clarification. There are not appointment times for ultrasounds. You show up and it's first come first serve so you might have to wait a while. Office staff is nice. Overall, Dr. Daly very well might be a good doctor but emotional support, clear explanations, and feeling comfortable in addition to good medical care was important to us. After the first couple of appointments we quickly decided to see another doctor, even if he wasn't covered by insurance, and were very happy with the decision.

Had to wait for the doctor to finish his bowl of cereal more than once for our scheduled appt. Left us in the office after they closed to allow time after a procedure was done. Daly said we had to go with 2 day old embryo if fresh or frozen. A National study released after we left his "care" said 5 days was better. We went to Dr Young and had results the 1st try.

Brilliantly capable doctor; if you're desperate for a baby, he's probably the most technically skilled practitioner in the region. His bedside manner, however, can be a bit rough -- if there isn't good news, he just awkwardly drops it on you and leaves the room. He's a nice guy, but has a touch of the science nerd about him (which is to be expected, I guess) -- he's not that great at connecting with people from what we experienced. But, overall, if you're going to see him, it's because you want children, you're not going to him for therapy, so, yeah.

I am not a big fan of Dr. Daly. I decided not to do IVF with him after my consultation and one other appt. He does not have a good bedside manner and was not the best at handling the emotional aspects of infertility treatment. I also did not get much help or information from his office staff. A lot of people like Dr. Daly...he is very knowledgeable in his field. However, if you decide to see him, you do have to understand that his bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. If you can get past that, you'll be ok.

Dr. Daly is a wonderful doctor! He is patient and gentle which are vital qualities for this specialty. His staff is amazing. They will explain everything to you - they are all fantastic about questions. I highly recommend this doctor. It has been worth all of the driving from Lansing to get such quality of care.

Excellent doctor. Understands and addresses the physical and emotional issues of infertility. If he is available, he answers questions and addresses concerns over the phone.
