All these comments just can't possibly be about the Steve Mackey I knew. I would think he would be caring even to his financial detriment. One of the nicest people I've ever known and for sure the smartest. I would go or send my children or husband to him if there was a serious dermatological problem

This Doctor is all about the "Money" the "Hippocratic oath" is out the Door on this dude! The staff is rude, obnoxious and could care less about you! They have several offices at the Doctor spends little to no time with you! He is "Gone" in "60" seconds. Don't waste your money! The diagnosis was inaccurate, but how could it be anything but! Totally disappointed with this physician and I would recommend Dr. Smith all day long have this so called "Rain Maker"! He reminds me of a medicine man in the movies back in the old west, sell you something real quick, take your money and when it doesn't work they want you to pay more money for another wrong diagnosis!

Treated for rash symptoms but reactions and pills were not effective. After more aggressive treatments and longer wait periods I stopped going and stopped taking prescribed lotion which ended up healing on its own without the lotion. May go back if necessary for other issues but would check other options first. staff seemed to be different during each visit and the portable laptops to gather data were very slow to record information.

I went to his office for a skin cancer check. It took more time filling out the endless paperwork, even though I had been there several times before, than the actual appointment itself. I am pretty sure he was not in the room examining my skin for more than 60 seconds. I left with the booklet on skin cancer he gave me and was told to return if I should notice anything suspicious. He may or may not know his stuff, but I truly think he needs to spend more time with people. I felt very rushed.

Didn't know or care that one of the drugs I was on had the reaction I was there to see him about. Pharmacist told me after going to see Dr. Mackey for 3 months with no viable improvement what the problem was. Stopped seeing Mackey.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED, BECAUSE THE DR. CAME IN VERY QUICKLY, LOOKED AT WHAT AREAS I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT,THEN I HAD TO ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS HE DIDN'T OFFER EXPLANATIONS PRIOR TO ME ASKING.FELT VERY RUSHED. THE TREATMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL.

I went to him for hair issues. He prescribed a drug store supplement. When it didn't work, he told me to go get this other drug. I picked up the drug and it said it would damage a fetus up to a year after you stopped taking it. Dr. Mackey didn't even ask me if I was pregnant. Thank goodness I was not pregnant and read the pharmacist information. Also, the wait time to see him is ridiculous and he only spends 10 minutes listening to your problems and, in my case, he never looked at or touched the area of concern.

I went to Dr. Mackey to look at a possible tumor on my thigh. He didn't take enough time with me to actually look at the mole itself. There were mistakes his staff made with filing it with my insurance. That was in 2004 and needless to say I've still had a headache of a time trying to speak with his staff.

Waited for 1-1/2 hrs in the wating room and another 20 min in an exam room before I was seen by the doctor. Dr. Mackey spent less than 2 minutes with me, no exaggeration, and most of that time was writing the prescription. At checkout, was told that I owed over $100 and they insisted that they had called my insurance company and confirmed the charges. They were wrong, and then it took almost 5 months and a dozen phone calls to get them to reimburse me the balance. To top it off, the prescriptions didn't help and I will have to find another doctor.
