Horrible, horrible, horrible. He should retire already. He makes no eye contact, spends about 30 seconds in the room with you and out the door he goes with yet another prescription. He's old (70s I think) so I think his retirement is approaching soon (Thank God). I had to remind him to close the exam room door before our session began. Insane. Myrna, the from office receptionist, has the biggest attitude problem of them all. I'm dropping him ASAP for a professional doctor.

I have never been treated with such poor customer service in my 22 years as a RN. My mother fell ill will visiting out of state, and needed a referral to cardiologist immediately upon return home. In attempting to convey my concern in possible delay of this referral, I was informed I was "hateful, and this nurse would be telling my mother how rude and hateful she felt I was". My problem is, as a professional, I would have thought I could have had some respect, as well as the opportunity to share my concerns about possible delays in treatment associated with her new diagnosis. She pulled the HIPAA card, and refused to talk with me, told me that she basically had more important patients to see in her office, her time was valuable and I was wasting it with my call. My mother has been a patient of this physician for 40 years, (I wouldn't take my dog to him). TELL HIM TO RETIRE!

Went for surgery clearance. Nurse left door open for my EKG (with my shirt open)and talked so loud she could be heard out in the waiting room. Dr. Beseth rushed by the room, turned around and came in saying "oh" went along side/behind me grabbed my breast! Needed a chest X-ray, he said he would put caugh on the request so Medicare would pay it! Pre op request didn't ask for breast exam. Pre op's always include chest X-rays, didn't need a caugh diagnosis. Another time I saw him for possible urin retention. He said only drink 8 oz of liquids a day. 8 oz for 24 hours??? What's he crazy??? A body needs a lot more than just 8 oz to flush it out daily. There was a young man across the hall from me who had a private parts problem. He had to tell Dr. Beseth to close the door before he took his pants down!

Took golf-ball size cyst out of my hubby's chest (right there on the exam table in the room! Hey, that's sterile I'm sure!!)and he works so fast he left a stitch in my hubby that I had to take out! Ugh! Never makes eye contact - no tact, nor bedside manner - treats his staff like crap (that's why Dr. Chase left hello!) Thank god he's with Dr. McMillian now in Rancho! Myrna is so rude too. Beseth cares way too much about the money he's making and how many patients he can sqeeze in. If you can get past all that he is one of the best surgeons around and works out of San Antonio Hospital, which is an awesome one!

The staff has always been nice, and for punctuality it very reasonable. I personally have never come in with a problem where I had great discomfort but if I have to wait 10 minutes for someone who is in pain or something more serious than a checkup I don’t mind it. Any prescriptions he has given me over the years he has explained in great detail what they do and why I should take it. He seems very knowledgeable with his answers on any health questions that I have asked.

Have been going to his doctor for about 3 years. Never makes eye contact, will never discuss the problem further. Gives you prescription and sends you out the door. Would I recommend him to others? No way. My husband has an appt with him next week. If he notices the same thing, we are changing doctors. He is all about the # of patients he sees a day. $ $ $ Thats all he is about, not the well being of his patiends.

Nurses are great. My problem is always with Myrna the appt taker. Today i called to make an appt and after she picked up the phone and we spoke she then told me I had to call back at 1. She needed to forward the calls. Been seeing Dr. Beseth for years. Like others have noted his bedside manner isnt the best but all in all I believe he is a good doctor.

I sw Dr. Beseth for the first time due to flu like symptons that stayed with me for a month. I saw an urgent care doctor a week before and he told me it was a virus. The minute Dr. Beseth saw me he asked me my symptoms I told him and he immediately knew I was diabetic. He told me I had to go to the ER right away. He knew this from looking at me for 5 minutes. The urgent care doctor drew blood and a performed a full physical. This was 2 months ago and I have had one follow up visit since. The staff is friendly and they remember me every time. Although he is brief and not the friendliest he knows his stuff, and thats what I want in a doctor

This doctor is horrible! Ever heard of a bedside manner. Heaven forbid if you have a question to ask him about your health. If you can catch up to him down the hall as he rushes off to see the next person and be able to ask a question, brace yourself for a short and how it comes across rude response. If you like eye contact this guy is not for you. If you like a little personal attention this guy is not for you. Sorry doc I can't diagnose myself, thats why i'm forced to go to you. This is going to be the last time i give any thought to this guy again. Don't make the mistake that i've made. Find another doctor!!!
