Within the first 5 seconds you open your mouth she's already made up her mind what is wrong with you. I have had many problems with her and am currently searching for a new PCP. I went in to get my shoulder checked out after falling on ice. She told me it was just a sprain and to go back to work and "just take it easy". I told her that something felt seriously wrong and that I didn't feel comfortable going back to work in my condition (I'm a firefighter and need to be physically capable of doing my job), she just repeated herself.
I went to see a specialist against her wishes and turns out I had torn my rotator cuff and needed surgery.
She's an embarrassment to the health care industry.

This was the worst experience with a doctor that I have ever had. My current doctor is leaving her practice so she referred me to this doctor. the moment I walked into the appointment, she told me "I don't have much time today, we are really busy" I HAD a SCHEDULED appointment with excellent insurance and this is the fist thing she says to me. The appointment only got worse. I have lyme disease and asked for additional testing since I had new symptoms and my last blood tests had been done the year before. She said "we aren't redoing those test, you had them done a year ago." I told her they were new symptoms and I was feeling worse but the doctor said lyme takes time. Every symptom I mentioned she had a reason why I didn't need a test. This doctor is rude and condescending, and clearly doesn't have time to actually care about what is wrong with you. I left there in tears feeling worse than I had before I saw her. This doctor has no interest in treating the root cause of your issues, nor does she have one ounce of compassion for her patients.

This woman was my PCP for several years, I left when I realized that she wouldn't diagnose anything. She is very pleasant, but not a great doctor. She also was my MD after I went to rehab with a knee replacement, she refused to prescribe anything for pain, knee replacements hurt! she said that she broke her arm once and all she needed was tylenol with codiene so she begrudgingly gave me that. I was in pain..It was like she was afraid to diagnose or write a prescription, thanks but not the doctor for me. I rarely go to the doctor but I want one who can tell me what is wrong,

Dr.Pro-Risquez has been my PCP for several years now. Prior to that I worked with her, as I was a nurse who often cared for her patients in the hospital. She has an excellent bedside manner, she listens to her patients, and she truly cares. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a PCP/ Internal medicine physician.

This doctor didn't bother to read the *5* page questionaire i filled out in her waiting room (the same which i had filled out for my doctor and also for the er when i had x-rays for a foot injury). When she asked me the very questions from the (YES/NO) questions on the form, i asked her why she hadn't previously consulted my form -after all while i was paying for her time, i was losing money from not being at work. She took a very sarcastic tone with me and asked, "Oh, you want me to read *these* sheets?" She then leafed through them and returned to asking me the very same questions as before. Not only that but she explained the treatment and refrained from answering my questions. Definately more medically knowledgeable than i, but not enough to field my questions. Finally, at the end of her presentation, she asked me, "Do you want to take this test?" Like she was selling me a time share! In the end, the test didn't work and she wanted me to pay for another. Blood from a stone.
