Dr. Fogarty and Dr. Tyl are GREAT. I have been seeing them for several years now and I am always happy when I leave. I am a big chicken at the Dentist's office. As many men are. They really knows how to use the needle. They have the very best equipment and are real scientists/experts. I have had crowns done there, they make them on a computer guided water drill, it's amazing and always a perfect fit. Bottom line: Drs. Fogarty and Tyl do great work. But the first thing for me is the discomfort. They have never hurt me. I am in my twenties and have recently moved to the area. I have seen a few dentists in the other places I've lived and have not had as good of an experience as I've had with Dr. Fogarty and his staff. He was prompt, but not so much so that I thought he was rushing through. His work has been clean and thorough. I've gotten two fillings, a cleaning, and a bonding, all of which he assessed to make sure was neccessary. He was honest when he thought something was in poor condition but he didn't make me feel like anything was hopeless. His staff was great and they seemed to take a personal interest in me as a patient, which you don't expect from a dental visit. All in all, I appreciated Dr. Fogarty's work enough to want to write this review!

I've recently changed dentists and while I was not unhappy with my previous dentist I was very impressed with Dr. Fogarty and the entire staff. They were punctual and friendly. The up to date equipment was most impressive. Seeing my x-rays and having a clear explanation of what was to be done was reassuring. I needed a crown and the modern equipment made that experience a wonder. As Dr. Fogarty prepared my tooth the crown was being processed in another room by computer. I left the office the very same day with a permanent crown. Of the 5 crowns currently in my mouth that one is by far the best fit and most natural looking. And to top it off the dentist called me the next morning to see how I was feeling. I've never experienced such a pleasant visit to the dentist in my sixty plus years. Rachael C.

This office really has it together. The staff is friendly and competent and my dentist, Dr. Fogarty, was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The office uses digital x-rays is excellent because you get less radiation. Also, they will email them to you free of charge if you (like I did) move out of the area and need a new dentist. I particularly appreciated that Dr. Fogarty did not push me to do unnecessary procedures. Of the 5 deifferent dentists I have been to in my life, he is the best.

I was scared of dentists because of my last experience with one who was extremely aggressive - he had told me that I had 8 cavities, 5 of which I let him fill before I came to my senses and stopped going to him. Since then I've been too scared to go to any dentist, and have had no problems in the past 2 1/2 years, but recently I decided to get a cleaning and a checkup - I found Dr Tyl's office at ratemds.com -- they charged reasonably for the cleaning, check up, bitewings, and an extra x-ray for a tooth that I thought might have a cavity - $260. Dr. Fogarty, the assistant Vanessa, and the receptionist Rebecca were all very friendly and helpful. I was running late and they were all very understanding, and still saw me right away. The doctor performed no unnecessary treatment, although he recommended I get my wisdom teeth pulled (reasonable recommendations, unlike my prior experience). All in all a great office - I will definitely be going back in 6 months.
