Biography

Dr. Jennifer Harrington is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. Her practice, Harrington + Associates Plastic Surgery in Minneapolis-St. Paul, boasts one of the only all-female plastic surgery teams in the United States. Dr. Harrington is recognized as one of the best female plastic surgeons, and is locally and nationally renowned for bringing the highest standards of medical excellence and aesthetic sensitivity to all procedures of the breast, body and face.Dr. Harrington earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Riverside. She then went on to receive her M.D. from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, as well as a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Harrington serves as Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at North Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center, and is nationally-recognized as a trauma healthcare specialist. Her dedication and compassion have led her around the world, including to Africa, Guatemala and Peru, to reconstruct and correct deformities of underprivileged children. Her reconstructive surgery skills earned her a reputation of excellence across the nation when she reattached the arms of a two-year-old boy following a devastating accident. In addition to many forms of reconstructive surgery, Dr. Harrington’s specialties include labiaplasty, breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction and facial surgery.
