I had my surgery 6 months ago. I was very nerves going in for surgery but after meeting with Dr. Sorokurs I was not as nerves anymore but then it was time for the IV. Oh no, I'm very scared of needles but I didn't even feel a thing when he insert the needle. Dr. Sorokurs woke me up after surgery and made sure I was very comfortable and that I had no pain. I would love to take Dr. Sorokurs with me anytime I have a surgery! I will recommend him and the staff to everybody I know!

On August 19, 2013 I had my 3rd surgery done with Dr. Sorokurs. Yes, three surgeries, lapband,tummy tuck and last my neck lift. What more can I say...he is absolutely the best anesthesiologist there is. No pain when he puts in the IV's, talks and sings to you the whole time, which makes you smile, and then...you wake up, all done!!! No grogginess, no nausea and you feel comfortable. He and his team, Sergio, Martin and Gloria which he personally trained for the last seven years, are the greatest group of people you want in the room while the surgery is performed. I will trust no one else now to be my anesthesiologist but Dr. Sorokurs. Thanks Dr. S, see you soon! Ursula

Dr. Sorokurs is a very nice doctor. He was very good at helping me keep my nerves under control before my surgery. I was very nervous about getting an IV. I did not even know when Dr. Sorokurs inserted my IV. Dr. Sorokus serenaded me with a lovey song before the anesthesia kicked in. I would recommend him.

Wonderful anesthesiologist! Great bed-side manner. Makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Explains in detail what is to take place. If you're lucky he'll sing you to sleep! LOL

I went for surgery on April 13,2012. I was nervous and he made me feel so much better. He was so gental and I had no bruising from my IV. He was great. I didn't relize I was falling asleep and before I knew it, I was all done and waking up. Thank Dr. Sorokurs your the best.

I recently had surgery and Dr Sorokurs was my anesthetist. My experienece from pre-surgery to post-surgery was excellent. Together with his knowledge, expertise and professionalism, he made me feel that i was in very good hands and i was reassured at all times. I am definately going to use his services again for future surgery.

Dr. Sorokurs is the best I ever had!! I have gone through lipo, breast reduction, two "C" sections to name a few. I walked in anxious & his wonderful staff were very kind at 5:45am. I don't want to give away any of his secrets from what I observed, because this is an experience that Dr. Sorokurs provided that I have never experienced before. The fears I have with Anesthesiologists, is the discomfort of getting in the IV, being over medicated, recovery being more than a drag and my body shaking non stop. I did not experience any of the above symptoms. Big thumbs up for this Anesthesiologist.

I just had an upper GI done. This anethesiologist has the best patient-to-doctor communications skills I've ever experienced. He puts you at ease, and truly knows his stuff. He interacts with patients and staff personally by name. I strongly recommend him!!!

Very professional, effecient with a great bed side manner. Would and will recommend Dr. Sorokurs and the San Dimas Medical Center Institute to our friends, family and anyone who asks. Will give another rating after surgery next week.
