She is an oldtime medical doctor. She listens and caresabout you. She sometimes seems like a caring mother.

Dr. Peet is a good doctor, but I have noticed that patients are increasingly rushed through the office-- perhaps she is having financial problems? Also, I have to agree with something that several other people have brought up-- her receptionist is highly unprofessional and even downright rude-- not the person you want to speak to while sick!! I actually canceled my first appt after talking to her on the phone, and only ended up rescheduling when I couldn't find another Dr to see me immediately. Suffice to say, not a good first impression.

What was supposed to be a physical with a new primary care physician turned into a rushed, 15-minute Q & A session with no physical. The doctor was out of the office to leave before I finished checking out with the receptionist. I did receive a prescription, but since my visit wasn't coded as a physical, my insurance didn't cover the visit. A few phone calls back and forth yielded disappointing results and continued poor service. I would not recommend this physician.

The staff was polite but not overly nice. You generally get into the exam room quickly but have to wait there for a long while to be seen. The doctor herself never seems like she listening and rushes through the exam, especially if it's a follow up visit. There never felt like there was any concern for me as a person. I felt like a number.

A friend went to this doctor with a cough for over a year and was given many inhalers but no x-ray. She had lung cancer and it was not noticed until she was OUT of this doctor's care.

Dr. Peet has been my primary care physician since she came to Baltimore County. She has always been most caring and a great listener. She takes time to explain not onlly medically related terms and conditions, but she always discusses the medicines she prescribes. She can be a little tardy at times, but because she takes time with each patient, she falls behind sometimes. She is fair and entusiastic, but she can be stern and demanding, depending upon the situation and circumstances, especially when I do not follow up on what I am supposed to do. I recommend her to my family and friends and I will continue to do so. Last year was an exception to the rule, in my opinion, inasmuch as Dr. lost her husband to a terrible accident. I know that doctors as a group are supposed to be cold and impassionate at all times. However, even doctors are human and we should cut them a little slack, as they cut it for us. I have always fond Dr. Peet's staff to be most competent and pleasant.

I am also having issues with her in regards to not keeping her appointments and not being as helpful as she once was. Her billing is horrible my insurance tried to make me pay for the full office visit because she was so far behind in her paperwork.

She is always rude, never has time to discuss anything with you. She will run so far over during her other appointments that I have had to cancel everything I was to do after my appointment with her. On the other hand her staff are great people, I feel sorry for them because the way she talks to them is horrible.

I have been seeing Dr. Peet for about 2 years. She has convenient hours, is easy to talk to, and her staff is friendly as well. She is also my GYN which is very convenient! I have recommended her to friends and family looking for a GP.
