Dr. Young is my PCP and I had to make an appointment to simply meet him. It took 3 weeks for me to see him. He didn't allow me to fully explain my symptoms instead he interrupted me the "ahhh you're experiencing..... common for your age and race". I felt like I was being blown off. I was also told to avoid fatty foods, dairy, etc. If he had taken the time to talk to me he would have learned my eating habits which already avoids these food choices.
He has 2 physician assistants which work with him. Between him and the assistants I received conflicting information on my A1C number. The diagnosis ranged not diabetic to diabetic. I really didn't know who to trust. Also it's hard to get test results without making an appointment to "review" them. I felt like a cash cow because everything required an office visit aka billable item. Looking for another doctor.

This doctor is very nice and acceptable for checkups and annual exams. But for immediate care that is not really an emergency, forget it. Many times the quickest available appointment may be 2 weeks. When making appointments sometimes you are on hold for 20 or more minutes.Waiting room time is also very time consuming
