Double billed me!! Lied about it !! and his wife is one the rudest people I've ever talked to! After I PROVED to her by having my insurance company on the line to tell her she was DOUBLE BILLING me she canceled my appointment and said she'd look into it!! RUN away from these crooks! This is not the first time they've done this! At first she thought I was someone else she had explained her DOUBLE BILLING to ! Even in the reviews someone else complained about it !!!! They say right from the beginning they only take cash!!!!! If so they why are they also billing my insurance company!!

I see comments about his wife... I don't think she works in the office anymore. Dr. Lakdawala is easy to schedule appointments with, aware, caring. No waiting, which is fantastic. He keeps checking in on things, and explains things when asked.

This was the first so called psychiatrist I've seen. He is arrogant, unwilling to work with patient. Also his wife works the front desk and is aweful. I left him after 3 visits

I have been seeing Dr. L for over a year now. I am reading these negative comments below and have to chalk it up to the illness they are suffering. I find Dr. L to be very knowledgeable about the meds and the side effects/drug interactions with other meds. He explained to me how the meds work so I have a full understanding of my treatment. As far as bedside manor, he is soft spoken. He cares about me and is by far the best psychiatrist I have seen. They accomodate my work schedule. No wait time. I am truly pleased. His wife is very sweet. I am confused by these negative comments. It is a doctor's job to recommend hospital treatment if he feels you are at risk of injuring yourself or someone else. He has to be cautious as his license is at risk. I hope people remember that more unhappy people complain then happy ones praise. I am sure there are many more like myself that love Dr. Lakdawala.

I have been seeing Dr. Lakdawala for over a year now. I refered to him by my therapist. Before seeing him I was a hot mess, other dr prescribing pill after pill. Spent 2 months in bed due to be put on anti psychotic drugs which were not needed. Dr. L has treated me and I feel 110% better. He is not a therapist he not there to talk to you for an hout. he is there to help mangage your meds And make sure you are ok. I feel sorry for the people who feel they haven't benefitted from his service. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

This doctor has a really rude wife and she handles the clerical needs of his practice. His receptionist is very sweet and nice. He prescribed me copious amounts of clonazepam which worked to manage my anxiety. He than cut me off of them due to insurance issues and it landed me in the ER with severe seizures. He will only talk to you for 5 minutes and bill you for an hour. I needed someone to talk to and this man was not willing. I learned more from the Doctor in the ER about my condition and how to control it, in an 8 hour period than I did in the entire (1 year, approx.) time seeing Dr. Lakdawala. This man and his "cash only" business should be investigated.

STAY AWAY...... I've been seeing him for about a year (every three months), he prescribes the same non working medicine. He told me that he doesn't like where my depression is heading and suggests that I go into a hospital. I told him I need a therapist to talk to and told me he would help me look for one since my insurance sucks. Well surprise he never had a chance to look, (not quite sure what his rude wife does all day). So after I tell him I don't even want to live anymore he gives me my script and I leave there hysterically crying not even able to make another appointment at that time. The kicker is the next day I get a letter in the mail telling me me he can no longer keep me as a patient no rhyme or reason. This mans license should be taking away leaving patients in such a depressed state with no help or guidance.

This rude doctor is not here to helps his patients. He is a legal drug seller. All he does is write prescriptions to keep his patients doped up. He will not help you if you need help. He is not here to talk to you about your problems. IF you are a pill popper.... THIS IS YOUR MAN. He will not help people like me. Got hurt on the job, and filed for SSDI, and he refused to help fill out the paper work. Had no problem billing my insurance $500.00 though. Got my SSDI no thanks to him, and never went back to his office. Wife is rude as well. She hangs up the phone on her patients. Entire staff is rude.
