Rotator Cuff Surgery, little or no improvement, a long recovery about 1 year, Now it is gradually getting worse, starting to have pain and pinching in the joint.

Outstanding. Took the time and gave me the kind of nonsurgical remedies I was hoping for. He is what a doctor should be

I just had a full right hip replacement surgery In September 2014 and so far everything is a complete success. It's only been six weeks but I had less pain from the time I woke up than what I've had to deal with the last 1 1/2 years. I have full range of motion and it just keeps getting better each and every day.

Failed to notify of recalled hip. Almost died 4 times from poisoning from the bad hip. Never followed up!

Dr Hicken is a major joke in my opinion. I injured my knee and he was local so I went to see him. He sent me for an MRI which after being read showed a tear that needed repair. Upon my follow up appointment Dr. Hicken stated that the person that read the MRI Images was wrong. I was not satisfied with his lack of caring and greater than thou attitude so I sought another opinion and had the corrective procedure. If Dr. Hick was not going to follow the MRI Report what was the point of shelling out the copay amount to have it done ? STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN !!!!!

A while ago Dr. Hicken reconstructed both of my shoulders. While the surgeries and recovery were not the least bit fun, the aftermath has been a complete success. I am much more active than before the surgeries, and am able to participate in a wide range of physical activities, including racquetball, with no difficulty at all.
