The worst Dr. I've ever seen. New patient and she didn't even do a body check. Combative and dismissed my concerns. I was there for a rash on my arm and she insisted it was bug bites. I had to ask her to look at my back for moles. She was there for 2 whole minutes. I can't stress enough it was the WORST experience I've ever had. Save your copay.

Dr Marcy Goldstein is outstanding. Always very honest and knowledgable. Never pushy on procedures that are suggested and very personable. I have been a patient for many years and I highly recommend Dr. Marcy Goldstein!!

The worst Dr I ever seen rude. Heartless, doesn’t listen quick to cut. I had a little pimple removed never explained what to to take care of it. My pimple never healed. I hate to go back but she needs to look at it I went for my vitiligo she said she knew how to treat it. She told me nothing . While a was there the nurse suggested I get a full body scan, the dr comes in she looks for 3 minute she messed my hair. Rude rude.

I went to her twice for the same problem. She was very dismissive both times and I felt she did not listen to me. I found her to be rude and her bedside manner is terrible. Since I was very dissatisfied with her, and the problem persisted, I went to a different dermatologist.....who was much better. She listened to me, did not rush me out the door, and eventually the correct diagnosis was made. I would never go back to Dr. Goldstein and would never recommend her to anyone.

I took my daughter because she has some acne issues. This woman is very obnoxious. She does not like to be told what medicine you do not want. I have an Aunt in the Pharmaceutical industry and I knew that Accutane was a drug that has very bad side effects. I did my research. I guess the doctor did not like that because she told me flat out that my Aunt does not know what she is talking about and that she, the doctor, knew it all. How do you call yourself a professional when you cannot even hear what the patient should not have according to their wishes, oh and yes lets not forget ...her skin type! She never asked if my daughter has sensitive skin, she did not examine her. She just sat in a chair (a good distance from her) and prescribed 2 things. I would NEVER go back and I think that her God complex needs to be examined. My daughter has since sought out a new dermatologist who has listened and has prescribed exactly what she needs for her issues not whatever the doctor wants her to have. I am sure Dr. Goldstein is getting a kickback from the company and is pushing Accutane on all her patients. She is rude, obnoxious and I do not think she cares about who she could possibly physically hurt. RESEARCH before you go to any doctor and find out what you could possibly be given as medication and look for the side effects. You are your own advocate. Unfortunately doctor care is not what it used to be. Care about you!!! This doctor will not!!!

I'm just shocked by this dr. I went for a body scan which she completed in under 5 minutes. Then I had to point out questionable marks to her. Fine, maybe I was too concerned. I also had some Botox during that appointment. I told her what I wanted and she rushed through w little thought and pushed me out the door. Next trip was for some laser vein removal. When I made the appointment the staff told me they were booking me for a half hour since I had requested several spots and charges me more than usual given my request. Dr comes in, rushes through and pushes me out the door in under 15 mins. I point out another spot that I wanted and she coldly says "we'll need to do that next time." Meanwhile, I'm thinking she didn't even cover what i wanted. I'm so disappointed. A lot of money down the drain and I'll have to find another derm.

On a positive note, unlike other reviews I found her office staff to be lovely.

Stay away from this one.

Due to a change in my insurance I had to find a new dermatologist (I LOVE my previous one!). A co-worker recommended Dr. Goldstein. First impressions are made when you call the office- the receptionist was very short and quick to get off the phone both times I called. Not a great way to make a potential new patient feel welcome and valued. Once in the treatment room I immediatley noticed that the stainless steel garbage can was spotty and dirty and the fire sprinkler on the ceiling had the biggest chunk of dust on it-- I let the nurse know. So gross. My appt was for an annual skin cancer screening and two biopsy two questionable skin issues. I informed her that I have had skin cancer in the past and take my screenings and concerns very seriously. Her full body skin cancer screening was done in all of 3 minutes, if that. She didn't use gloves or a magnifier. After the body scan she asked me where my skin cancer was as she missed seeing the scar (which is noticeable) in her not-so-thorough scan. One spot in question was the SAME EXACT as a previous one I had that ended up being squamous cell carcinoma. She tried to brush it off as nothing and I had to insist she biopsy it. With my history, I found it quite disturbing that she wouldn't be more aggressive in biopsying it. Better to be safe than sorry in my eyes. Waiting for my biopsy results but will be seeking anew dermatologist for all future visits. Also- she arrived at the office for the day 5 minutes after my appt was scheduled for. No apology for being late.... Rude.

The WORST office staff ever!!! 10 mins on hold to get an appointment. Google map says East Ridgewood Ave but its actually west. I told the girl once I got there that maybe they should let people on the phone know the correct address. Sounds like common courtesy right??? Not these gals!!! Once you walk in, all seats were filled with patients and the waiting room was the size of a prison cell. I asked the receptionist how long and she said she has no idea...so walked right the hell out! I thought to my self, how good could this doctor be when they can't even tell you where the place is located or how long the wait is? Hey doc, your staff is a reflection of you!!!! Never again! B

Dr Goldstein was great. She fully understood how to treat my warts, after others had failed to do so. She recommended a treatment that was effective and fully covered by insurance. She was friendly, personable, efficient and knowledgeable. Really a great Doctor.
