I am sorry to say that I agree with the reviews on Dr. King and his poor doctor-patient relationship skills. There was a lack of attention as he sat at his computer, very little eye contact with me-the patient, no education on lab results, no questioning on my symptoms and concerns, short responses to my questions such as "My glucose is 125, what does that mean, what should I do?" He states "126 is diabetes. Don't eat sugar!" There is very little understanding of how to relate to people. I will not recommend Dr. King to my community of people. I believe that he demonstrates a serious lack of empathy.

The ONLY good thing about Kurt King & his office is the front desk ladies (very nice)! As for King & associates-disgustingly UNPROFESSIONAL, rude, smug, highly insensitive! All 4x's seeing HIM, made me feel like I was bothering him, no "hello's/how r u?", sits down & says "what do u need..I'm not treating u for that, that's beyond my realm of expertise...what else do u want?" As he sits there staring at me awkwardly. I'm not sure whether he had a botox treatment that morning cuz he has the personality of a wet rag, horrible bed side manner! How come I was even giving an appointment when u refuse to treat me for the condition I have?...oh yea I get it..$$$, that's what its alllll about...who else is going to pay for that botox (us/"patients")?!?! In all of my 30+ years, have i EVER encountered such a miserable, rude, unsympathetic doctor that talked down & treated me so horribly. Hes a nasty human being, that should NOT be practicing in the field of medicine...stay AWAY PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE!!!! MIND YOU KING & HIS OFFICE ACTUALLY RECEIVES ZERO STARS!!!!!!!

I hesitate to return to the Waterdam Family Practice although I have been a patient there for many years. I had a very horrible experience with him. He is downright abusive. Although I really like the ability to have same day appointments, I always fear he will be the only doc available. I can understand why he would be the only one available if he treats all his patients the way I was treated. Someone mentioned his looks. After spending any time at all with him, you will no longer even consider his looks as appealing.

Dr. King has been a wonderful addition to this practice, and he is actually now the doctor I prefer to see. He is kind, personable, and has been willing to do what it takes to help me. I'm really shocked at some of these other reviews. Dr. king is wonderful!

Is it possible to rate someone with zero stars? He is rude and arrogant. He refused to send me for an endoscope when I repeatedly asked. I have severe acid reflux. I asked him to prescribe meds for it and was told to get something over the counter. As a result I now have Barret's Esophagus. He really should not be practicing medicine.

Quite unimpressed with Kurt King- I marveled at how well he was able to diagnose me and then dismiss my concerns regarding the steady increase in my back pain due to disc degeneration without asking any questions or looking at my MRI or ortho report. This man possesses little bedside manner or genuine concern for a patient. He seems to be stubborn and not willing to change his mind no matter what you tell him. King is new to this practice and how I wish now that I would have requested Dr. Mittell. I have no plans to return which is unfortunate because the office staff and medical techs were so warm, professional and welcoming to me as a new patient. If you have any pain or discomfort at all, just avoid this one. Complete waste of my time.

I would not recommend him to anyone. He is rude and uncaring. For some reason he will not refer patients to specialists when needed. He refused to order the tests needed to monitor my illness. So happy that I switched to another doctor. I regret that I did not do it sooner.

This MD is new to my practice so when an urgent apt is needed, you get STUCK seeing him or you can't get in quickly since he doesn't have clientele yet (and he wont if he keeps treating his patient's the way he does). I went to see him for bronchitis, which I have had numerous times in the past and know when I need intervention to stop it from becoming a nightmare. This man was ignorant, arrogant, and asked me what I wanted him to do for me since nothing could be done and then told me that he "refused to treat my cough I only had for 2 days and minor sore throat." I asked for suggestions on OTC meds to help with the cough and he blatantly ignored my questions. He was very unhelpful and comes across as unknowledgeable. I went to another md and ended up having the worst resp infec of my life. I also coughed so much over 6 weeks that I gave myself an unbilical hernia. Thanks Dr. King, for nothing but wasting my money and time. DONT RECOMMEND. He ended up making me sicker by making me wait

Always appears very disinterested. Not at all approachable and seems genuinely inconvenienced to be seeing you for your visit.

I will NOT recommend Dr. King to anyone and instead will do the exact opposite. I will NEVER go back to his office again. I went to him with a chronic pain and he told me it was nothing and would just pass. I asked more questions so he googled it right there in front of me... he obviously didn't know anything about it. I left unsatisfied, but went back again 3 weeks later when it still hadn't seized. He just kept saying that it would pass. He was very smug and actually rude to me. I was crying because I was frustrated and apologized for crying and he just stood there and asked me what it was I wanted him to do about it because there was nothing to do. I asked him to refer me to another doctor and he brushed it off saying that it's nothing and they're not going to be able to do anything about it. I was livid! He never gave me a referral. I found my own doctor who gave me medicine that gave me huge relief in just two days after I lived with it for 2 months under Dr. King's care.
