Very happy with my first visit. Dr. Peiris was so thorough - more attention to my medical needs than any other doctor I have EVER visited. I would highly recommend him to my friends/family. He spent much time examining me and also in discussion afterwards about what I needed to do to improve my condition. I hope I can see him for a very long time. Very, very impressed. Also, very comfortable to talk to.

2-3 months to get appt. Dismissive. Blames patient for having diabetes. Arrived one and half hours late for first appt. Got nothing accomplished. Never did evaluation. Mentioned other tx but was certain I would not follow protocol. Claims has more effective insulin but refused to prescribe. Demanded I take an anti depressant or would not see me again. Intent on abandoning my case. The second visit was even less productive as he wrote out his case for not helping out; referring to other doctors, generally indicating that I could not be helped. Very negative, angry doctor. He summarily discharged me from his care. I was shocked at this indifferent level of care. No more appts is OK with me

Diagnosed me promptly. Started on treatment, explain all the benefits and side-effects. Saw me for follow up. Corrected previous medications. Very pleased , great MD, Recomend very highly
