Dr. G is one of the most caring, compassionate doctors I have ever been to. Even though I moved from the town, I still come back to Dr. G. That's because he truly listens and cares about you as an individual, not just as a patient, always remembering details you shared with him during your previous visit. Having said that, I do not go in for routine visits because the wait time is horrendous, even with an appointment. Many patients in the waiting room complain about the incredibly long wait. Also, as wonderful as the Dr. is, his staff is another matter. They do not call in scripts, even with repeated follow up phone calls. His new nurse practitioner has absolutely no "bed-side" manner and I will never set an appt to see her in the future. Maybe she seems so indifferent and "militant" because his previous nurse practitioner was absolutely wonderful...very personable and compassionate - we miss her very much! To sum up this review - Dr. G is a wonderful physician..the wait in to see him and the professionalism and follow through shown by his staff? ZERO! If you ever call to refill prescriptions, make sure you follow up with the pharmacy to be sure they were called in as promised.

Place is a dump. Office Mgr J and her pig face side kick are extremely unprofessional to the staff. Dr treats employees like slaves. No lunch break. White trash inside and out

I have seen Dr. G since he was in Wayne. He is wonderful. He knows his patients and what works best for them. The wait time is terrible. When your sick who wants to sit in a waiting room for hours then in the exam for more. His staff is ok . Shaina is wonderful, they should clone her and get rid of the rest. I have left message with staff and they never got to the dr. Recently he added two PA's, NP's, drs, I dont know what they are, but they are not Dr G. I will never see one of them again.

Great Dr. Have been a patient for years with Dr. G but while the staff are pleasant and helpful at best the idea of an appointment is really amusing. Every visit is almost two hours. The staff makes appointments for as early as 7:45 while the Dr. Doesn't come in until 8:30. I have had 2 appointments early and have still waited over an hour before the Dr sees me. Time to find a new office. As I said, love Dr. G but hate the wait.

Badly run practice. They accommodate walk-ins but even with an appointment, wait times both in waiting room and exam room unacceptably long, even when it isn't crowded. Phone calls to Dr Guariglia are not answered until after office hours. Too often, the e-scripts aren't sent in a timely manner and requests from pharmacy for call backs are ignored or not answered in a timely manner. Employs a staff member who gives unsolicited & incorrect medical advice and does nothing to accommodate patients (personal experience). Other staff members OK. Office is clean and cheerful, medical staff is knowledgeable, hours are convenient, but that's not enough to qualify this as a good practice. It's really too bad because there are few practices that aren't at least a 30-minute drive from West Milford/Hewitt. The only good news is that Dr. Guariglia gives office space (usually one day a week) to specialty practitioners whose main offices are in other communities and Chilton has opened a satellite blood lab and imaging lab on the premises. Nevertheless, this practice is steadily losing patients and I may be following suit.

I have been treated by Dr. Guariglia since he has graduated med school. I found him always professional, always courteous, and of course very knowledgeable in his field. Very few doctors I have seen in my life that treat you like one of the family and he definitely does. Five stars.

I have known Dr. G for years now going back to his time in Wayne at High Mt. Medical he has always been there for my family and I. Whatever we need he finds the time to accommodate and make us feel cared about. There are not too many wonderful doctors out there who actually want to spend the time and dedicate themselves to their patients. The new office in Hewitt is wonderful, from the outside you would never expect such a truly a beautiful office. The staff at Dr. G's has always been friendly. Wonderful manager, nurses, and receptionists. I was so pleases as he even managed to bring along one of my favorite ladies from High Mountain to assist him in his expansion. She has always been such a pleasure and really works hand in hand with the doctor to accommodate our many needs. Overall I have to say that my heart is with this practice and may god bless them as they grow bigger and bigger in the years to come. Highly recommending this practice.

Dr. G. saved my husband's life due to careful, thorough care. Always remembers details of our lives and health. However, I concur with others that wait time can be hours. Not enough personal experience in new office to rate rest of staff...but since this format forces me to make a choice, I'll assume he uses good judgement in staff selection.

not very caring, never treated patient with any quality. He never gave proper care, never even visited patient when in hospital, just said that he did. I would not recommend him to anyone.
