Dr. Sweetnam took his time and worked diligently with my mom to find the correct prescription for her after her stroke. The detailed comprehensive exam will cost more then your local chain eye doctor, but worth every penny. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful offering suggestions with their eye wear choices. Highly recommended.

Dr. Sweetnam and staff attended to my needs during the time I suffered from a significant eye injury. They all went to great lengths to ensure the injury was healing properly. I have been going to Dr. Sweetnam for many years and I receive the best care I have ever received from any eye professional I have been to. The Emergency Room recommended me to another eye specialist and I called Dr. Sweetnam and explained the injury and he saw me immediately. Excellent practice and I highly recommend. You can get you glasses and contacts there so it is one stop for all your eye care needs.

The doctor did right by me. Everyone was nice and cheerful. I note the guy who gave a poor rating was later banned. That says volumes about how much you can rely upon his rating.

VERY professional practice, uses latest equipment and methods. They support many different brands of contacts (& glasses) to provide the one best for YOU. I've been elsewhere where they only provided a choice between two brands, neither of which fit me well. Dr. S is quite personable, with extensive experience, including in the military. They have gone out of their way to help me, even with last minute problems (eye injury) when they gave me a same day appt. Never an error on the bill, and I check. I can only wonder if perhaps the negative reviewer was somewhat angry and was more trouble than he was worth. Because there are certainly plenty of people signing up with this doctor and his offices are busy. They don't need to put up with an undesirable customer. I MOST STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS EYE DOCTOR. HE IS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE OTHERS I'VE TRIED IN THIS AREA.

I am concerned about billing procedures at this practice. There was an error in reporting to my vision insurance from the office, and I corrected it. When I got the new bill and was asking questions to try and make sure it was correct, Dr. Sweetnam said he would send my records to me and asked me to find a new doctor. Am I not allowed to make sure my bill is correct and that I understand it?
