This is an amazing doctor and man. He took three brain tumors and cortical dysplasia out of my right temporal lobe after I had two grand mall seizures that came close to killing me. The ambulance driver had covered up my face and called me toast. There are no words to say how thankful I am to Dr. Elisevich . He listens , is compassionate and most of all he cares. This is not his job it is his calling and that is the way he treats his patients. If I were to ever need brain surgery again I would want no one but God and this man.

Dr Elisevich changed my life for the better and I always praise his work when talking to anyone. I was treated like a human and he listened to me and talked to me with patience and explained everything in detail. I will never forget how wonderful Dr Elisevich was in treating me at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. I had every kind of epileptic seizure and at that time no other Doctors in the Detroit Metro area knew what I was trying to explain. Thank You forever.

My husband was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. He had reached the point of no longer being able to lift his head. Where we lived, the local doc was suggesting a titanium letter "I" be placed onto his c 1,2 and 3. I knew this would make his neck ridged. No way! Fred was a bronze medalist for England in the quadrathlon. A true athlete. This was unacceptable. My father discovered Dr. Elisevich and told me of his works. Upon Fred's visit to a referring physician, Fred asked, "who would you have do this surgery?" Response was Dr.Elisevich. Fred was convinced and was blessed to be operated on by this life saving Neurosurgeon! Fred made an astonishingly speedy recovery with full neck movement and no residual pain. This highly skilled surgeon is also kind, thoughtful and speaks to you with compassion. Add, he listens. I am forever grateful and forever an admirer. The greatest doctor I have ever met in my life. Dr. Kost Elisevich is the best doctor on earth. He not only discovered but removed a deadly tumor from my brain that should have destroyed my functions. He is an amazing, caring thoughtful surgeon who was able to put up with my innumerous questions and gruffness about operating in my skull and after affects. This man deserves a badge of honor for what he has to do to treat humans, dealing with peoples lives, livestyles, abilities, knowledges, physical outcomes, and he does it bravely and with sense of humor and with bravado. I told Dr. Kost he better be a better Brain Surgeon than I was an Air Traffic Controller. I had been having epilepic seizures since 32 yrs of age and I thought I would ask my DR if surgery could help. She referred me to a neurosugeon at Henr Ford Hospital and additional tests were perfomed to see if it would benefit me. It was decided that it would help and so surgery was set up and I had two surgeries (12-9-05, 12-19-05)three yrs ago and have been completely seizure-free since then. Reduced from many of my anti-seizure medications as well and things are going greatly for me since. The DR and his staff were very helpful and courteous.
