Absolutely the best bedside manner and great sense of humor. Understanding in ways I have never seen in any other physician. His sensitivity surpassed by far what I have expected of any physician and dispelled any myth or stereotype which I had of physicians in general. He took the time to speak with me on my level and most of all he listened to me. He was patient and thorough! I cannot that his staff was complimented his personality and completed my hospital visit. I recommend him and his staff without reservation.

Dr. Amblard has the worst bedside manner I have EVER encountered. He performed a spinal tap on me on an ambulatory basis. He failed to give me enough litocaine in the spine as he progressed further into my back, causing my pain reflexes to make me spasm. When I said to him, "That really hurts." He YELLED at me, "Yes, I know, I heard you the FIRST time you said that!" This man was literally yelling at both me AND his staff while he was performing this procedure. He had me in tears...so much so, that a nurse came to me to hold my hand while he continued the procedure. I have no confidence in his clinical approach either, as it took him nearly 50 minutes to even find the spinal column. I was in pain, I was crying, and the procedure should have been stopped and rescheduled with another doctor. I also happened to be his LAST patient of the day...BIG mistake. After the procedure was completed I attempted to address his unprofessional manner...he was aloof and in denial. H
