Saw this doc on referral for PC. Was unable to view ultrasound of my kidneys due to "problem" with his computer. Nefver did review them. His only diagnossis was to duplicate the PC's findings with urine test.

Some men find prostate biopsy VERY painful. My husband was one. Dr. Rodner insisted on doing this procedure in his office with no anesthesia. After this excruciating experience, my husband swore he'd never go through that again. When his PSA crept up again, I found another urologist who not only did the procedure in the hospital, under sedation, but found what Dr. Rodner had missed: a small localized infection that cleared up with antibiotics. I can't help but infer that Dr. Rodner has a move 'em in, move 'em out, collect the $$ attitude about urology.

Rodner treated me for five years, yes, five years for over-active bladder. Never did a scope in his office all those years -- only when I stopped all his medications did I finally see blood in my urine and then he did the scope - I have a life expectancy of 2 -5 years -- the cancer has metastisized into my lymph nodes.
