I saw Dr. Veit several times. First visit, she was OK, but on subsequent visits she seemed extremely unfocused and distracted. The last time, she completely ignored me when I spoke to her. Never seen anything like it. Then she left the practice without notifying her patients. Now I need a refill on a prescription that she wrote and she claims she can't refill it because she says she left all her records at her old practice and can't get them. Meanwhile, I need the prescription! She clearly doesn't care about her patients.

I was a patient for 6 years when I called about unwanted pregnancy. Office staff was brusque and unhelpful. Clearly time was of the essence but they could see an opening for 2 weeks?!? I am 41, married and have 2 kids, 1 with an inheritable immune disease so I knew I wanted to end the pregnancy. Regardless, while abortion is still legal there shouldn't be a "legit" reason to have one. Very surprised that other women in Westchester, NY were giving me attitude just over the phone. Asked for Dr. V to call me back & she never did. When I called again the staff told me that it would be very expensive because insurance wouldn't cover it. What a LIE! Planned parenthood (on rt 119) took my insurance info, saw me quickly, did the procedure, were sensitive and knowledgeable and I am thinking of using them for all my gyno needs. Dropped a big donation to Planned Parenthood in the mail, even though my insurance paid everything. Here's hoping other women can benefit from PP and not Dr. V

I prefer a female doctor because they are usually better communicators. Not Dr. Veit. You can usually count on her not listening but also, her personality swings from personable and friendly one visit to cold as ice the next. Not that I go to her anymore.

Used Veit for fertility treatments and sorry I did. At our last meeting, after two cycles collapsed, she just shrugged when she delivered the news that I'd probably never be able to get pregnant. I was shocked at her coldness and walked out of the office, stunned that she couldn't give me such routine news in a more supportive way. Very poor bedside manner, with a bit of arrogance thrown in. She is knowledgeable, but a complete bust when it comes to compassionate patient care.

Lack of attention to detail, disorganized, mistakes.. slow to correct, hard to reach.. well I really don't have anything positive to say. She is probably bright, but in general has a distant, superior ..not personable.. style and I gave up after bad rx after bad rx. I feel Dr.Veit has business on her mind first, and patient care someplace low on her list.

Dr. Veit is probably a great doctor. Unfortunately, she recently merged with a new practice. Since then my test results were lost twice and I was once told I was fine when in fact I was not. The office staff is nice, but outrageously disorganized. I have been scheduled for the wrong doctor in the wrong office. She once referred me to her partner and CHARGED me to make copies of the records she wanted this doctor to have. There is no follow up whatsoever. It's too bad because I believe she's probably an excellent physician. After 10 years, I am sadly considering leaving this practice because if they can't manage my appointments and/or results, how on earth can they manage my care?

I have been so frustrated with this place. You make an appointment 3 months ahead of time, you wait over an hour. I will give her credit, she can do the procedures well. But if you have any questions you want answered or want to know results from tests, you are out of luck! I had all these concerns that I told her about, and she discussed nothing with me, she did the exam and was off. I can't imagine having her in a delivery room. She has absolutely NO bedside manner.
