Worst doctor ever - go elsewhere. She is rude and belittles patients. This woman traumatized me during a procedure several years ago and I will never forget it. She is very arrogant and uncaring.

This Dr. has issues! She made me wait hours on two separate appts. She treated me like crap, zero sensitivity! I now drive to Pariser in Norfolk...WELL WORTH the drive!!!! Dr. McDonald needs to move!

Dr. McDonald is very knowledgeable in her field. I have been seeing her for years for my psoriasis and she keeps it under control. No other doctor has been able to do such a good job. Thanks Dr. McDonald.

She began a humiliating examination where she poked and prodded me with no explanation to what she was doing. Her nurses drew circles around moles that they "thought" were bad moles. They took pictures and the Dr. then told me she had to remove them because they were cancerous. She just looked at them and assumed that they were precancerous. I had the moles removed - the Dr. and the nurses had an uncaring attitude. Following the removal of the moles - my family gasped at the huge incision places on my back. One place had 5 stitches and the other place had 7 stitches. The stitches and the incisions were crudely cut and sown up. Now, it is almost a year later, my back is severely scarred, to the point that I am embarrassed, ashamed, and humiliated by the scarring. By the way, I called the office to ask about the moles that were sent off to see if they were cancerous - which they were not - the office would not have called me to tell me this. Never go to this **** I wish I didn't.

Dr. McDonald is a life saver. I have been walking around with this skin cancer on my back for a year and a half and all the other dermatologists just gave me creams and sent me on my way. Dr. McDonald did a biopsy on the of the area and it turned out to be a rare cancer. I am greatful she is here and is my dermatologist. I will be reccomending her to everyone I know.

I think Dr. McDonald is a great doctor. I really enjoy her being my dermatologist. The wait in the office was long but expected. Her staff was very warm and kind and I would recommend Dr. McDonald to my friends and family.

I would like to say this doctor is VERY un-professional. I waited an additional 2 hours after my appointment( for an unknown dermatitis )to be seen. Once admitted, I was told to strip naked (I am male) so that she could fully examine me. after naked, she then asked 4 more nurses (females) to enter the room to take pictures of the condition, before even telling me what I had. This situation has haunted me to this day as the worst doctor's visit I have ever encountered. I understand needing to be stripped to fully examine me, but without asking me if others could examine me or take pictures, i believe this borders on patient abuse. On top of the privacy issues, I had to repeatably tell Dr. Mcdonald not to talk to me like a four year old. I am an intelligent human being and deserve to be treated this way. I personally tell anyone planning on visiting a dermatologist to go an hour up the road to the next nearest office.

McDonald was very knowledgeable. The wait time was a bit long but my diagnosis was worth it. Her staff was extremely sensitive.

This doctor was the most RUDEST person I have every met! We waited over three hours after out scheduled appt and when she finally got to us, we didn't even her an apology. When she asked me a question and I tried to answer it she yelled at me like I was some little kid. Her workers looked as if they were scared half to death. She has no bedside manners whatsoever!!!!.I know this is a small town and the other dermatologist was booked until December, but I will have to take the drive to Edenton or Virginia to see another dermatologist.
