After having my torn Achilles/Haglund deformity misdiagnosed by another podiatrist, I went to Dr. Jeff who did surgery to correct the deformity and re-attach my Achilles. I was running an average of 40 miles a week before the tear and surgery and afraid I would never run again. I am just over one year out of surgery and happy to report that I ran 10 miles yesterday with no pain from the foot!!! Thanks to Dr. Jeff Niespodzainy.

When I was only 11-12 years old he put implant like screws into both of ankles but never explained why they were actually needed. 2 years later my ankle pain was even worse and I went to another doctor who then explained that Dr. Niespodziany caused me permanent nerve damage in both ankles and I then had the implants removed. My new podiatrist has seen this in many of his patients that went to Dr. Niespodziany, botched ankle surgeries that is. I am now 20 and I have underwent 6 ankle surgeries now thanks to this butcher.

He is a very gentle, kind and patient man. He took care of several things on my feet that had caused me problems. I'm glad that my heath care provider chose Dr Niespodziany as my podiatrist.

The surgery was a bunionectomy, which was effective, and straightening 4 hammer toes which was a disaster. He did not do the procedure the way he described it to me and he did not do anything to my small toe. The plastic he used instead of the metal pins he described did not keep my toes straight. They became frozen in a curled position that caused me to walk on the ends rather than the bottoms of my toes. I had profuse bleeding by the time I got home from the hospital and emergency number he gave me connected to a recording that told me the clinic was closed. The little toe that he did not work on became folded under so that I stepped on it with every step. The swelling in that foot took 6 weeks of therapy to reduce to a manageable level. A second procedure on my little toe resulted in a raging infection-he refused to prescribe antibiotics-and another permanently curled toe. I've just had a second surgery to repair his damage, another 4 weeks of being laid up after 3 years of misery.

Very, very late; missed in xrays that metal he had inserted was too deep and causing permanent damage to structures below it. Save yourself a nightmare, there are much better doctors out there!

He repeated a foot surgery done in sept 06 which caused pain swelling discoloration. He was gentle, thorough and supportive. He took my fears and put them at rest. His surgery was in October 2007 and along with removing "scar tissue" and a "screw" that went through the bone so whenever a step was taken the screw would hit the soft flesh of the ball of the foot causing excruciating pain swelling and the foot actually turned purple from the bruising. He listened to the problem, he assured me he would not "drop" me as a patient in the recovery room and that he would look around to clean up any other problems. He brought me the screw that had caused all the damage during one of my physical therapy appt's. I now have a foot I can walk on, pick up items again with my toes, and is pain free for the most part. he is a lifesaver. Thank you for being a great caring professional
