Do not use this Doctor - he is truly the most arrogant, self-centered jerk I ever had to deal with. After surgery on my hand...he did not even use a any kind of splint or brace and all I had was a small bandage on the incision. When I went to a follow up appointment and the Hand and Upper Limb Clinic - they could not believe that I did not have any kind of split on my hand. One therapist told me it is standard procedure for the hand to be immobilized for a period of time...I told her she had better tell Dr. Gan that. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

Dr. Gan was/is arrogant, quite rude and behaved like a child when questioned about his choice of therapy options. Felt it was above him to answer questions, I am a nurse therefore I had specific questions, he was not interested in entertaining them.

This doctor badly misdiagnosed my hand, told me it was normal and that I should just go back to work. Told WSIB and Employer nothing wrong with me didn't want to work. EMG tests showed my had still had severe Carpel Tunnel. I have filed complaint with Ontario Physicians on this doctor.

I used to think Dr. Gan was a good doctor but don't let his fake attempts at having a good bedside manner fool you. He is arrogant and basically a jerk when it comes down to it. I certainly would not go to see him again.

I went to London to see Dr.Bing S. Gan, SJHC. Our two daughters drove me down. I liked how he told us,point blank what the surgery entailed. And that the odds weren't in my favour for surviving this surgery. He told me to go home and have a family meeting and discuss everything. Well I for one appreciated his candour. I would rather have Dr.Bing S. tell me everything and not candy coat it. Then leave and think that this operation was going to be a simple task. I'm thinking of going through with this surgery, because I don't think that I can live with all of this pain and extreme muscle spasms and twisting of the intestines. Thank you Dr.Bing S. Gan

The only good thing about this dr is his receptionist Nancy who is very helpful. Dr Gan royally screwed up my surgery and now I have permanent impairment. I have seen another dr who was one of his students who said she was surprised the surgeon was dr gan when she saw my xray. Now my option is to have the head of the bone removed and let the bone slide into the other one.... apparently it is so messed up there are no other options. He never explained any of the surgeries, just gave me a form and said, here sign this. Had to wait a week and a half for surgery when the bone was fractured and resting against the other bone when an e.r. would have had me in that night. i have had to go onto disability benefits until I can retrain for a new job. Did I mention I am not even 30 yet? I used to think Dr Gan had a good bedside manner but he really does not. He is arrogant, better than us. In fact I ran into another of his patients who was having repeat surgery after he left a tube inside of her.
