I called to make a new patient appointment and the receptionist refused to verify my insurance and told me I would have to pay cash. Dr. Jukes obviously doesn't need the business.

Really, really expensive. She didn't want a conversation; she just wanted to be right. I was charged for procedures that were not done. I have to return and be charged for another appointment just to get hormone prescriptions.

I did a search on Dr. Jukes this evening and was quite surprised to read of these reviews. Wondering if some might be the same person? I have had an amazing experience. Being new to the area, I visited Dr. Jukes as a recommendation from someone else in the community for ovary pain I am experiencing. I was able to get an appt 3 days after calling which was perfect. I got lost on my way, but the staff greeted me very kindly and helped me hurry to get all that paperwork filled out. Found out later, you can print it out off their website before you go which I suggest. Anyway, Dr. Jukes was extremely thorough, kind, and listened extensively to my concerns. I also love the new video technology they use so that you can watch videos of topics you choose while you are waiting. I waited in the waiting room about 10 minutes and in the exam room about 5 minutes. Yes, Dr. Jukes types on the computer while she is talking, but this is called modern technology! I was very pleased and will be back

I've had great experiences at Dr. Jukes' office. The front office staff are very professional, yet still sweet/warm to make you feel at ease. They've been very helpful when making appointments to come in or for blood work, or even when I call with a question. I come in 15 minutes early as they request to fill out that darn paperwork, and have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Initially, to get an appointment with Dr. Jukes was a long wait, so I went with the NP June. I have not regretted that. June has wonderful bedside manner and explains everything before she does it. She listens carefully and yes, they use a laptop while you are talking w/ them to enter any info. that they see as important. Each time I leave their office, I feel at ease and very well cared for.

My whole experience in Dr Juke’s office was horrible. I arrived 20 minutes before my apt yet I still wasn’t checked in until 20 min after my apt was to begin. Dr. Jukes was very unprofessional, her bedside manner was awful & for the 10 pgs of paperwork they have you fill out regarding your medical history she clearly didn’t read over any of it. She types in her computer the whole time and barley even looks at you as she answers your questions. She gives you no warning for what she is about to do and the whole exam was uncomfortable. What’s even more discouraging is that nothing but protein diets and skin care regiments are advertised all over the waiting rooms and exam rooms. I get my itemized bill and find out they had billed procedures/tests that were not even preformed on me during my visit.Needless to say this whole experience was a disaster!

I was disappointed with the professionalism and knowledge of Dr. Jukes and her staff. The office visit was ok, but the exam left me very sore for several days which has never happened to me with an annual gyn exam before (have been going every year for 20 years). My main issue was with my prescription for monthly birth control, it was put in incorrectly to my pharmacist for 3 months only. When I called the office to resolve this, I was told that 3 months was the maximum for my prescription, which was not correct. It took several follow up calls to have this corrected and was initially updated to a 6 month prescription which was also not correct. This was a frustrating waste of my time. As several other reviewers noted, I was also taken aback at the 'med-spa' like advertisements on every surface in the waiting room and in exam room for botox and other treatments unrelated to ob-gyn. I will not return.

I went to see Dr Jukes after having pain above my left ovary. I have been diagnosed with cysts and was afraid one had ruptured. I have had many so I know the drill. She did the sonogram and found it then promptly sent me for an emergency MRI. In shock in shock I followed through with the orders. I work medical so I had the results a week before I had to call them. Then she wanted to follow up with an ultrasound every 6 weeks. Which is unreasonable. I transferred doctors and they wanted to charge me for my medical records to be transferred. I understand the patient load can be somewhat taxing, but unnecessary tests are a little much. I also do not think I remember making eye contact with her at all during my initial exam. Which was very frustrating.

My ratings are on staff only. Clerical/Admin staff is unprofessional. Used no discretion and openly discussed medical procedures at front desk while others were in waiting room; a clear violation of HIPAA Privacy Rules. Clinical staff does not call with results in a timely manner. Upon calling to request results multiple times, staff is curt and unapologetic, including office manager. Their office is closed for lunch, as most are; however, they schedule appointments for the moment they open the door, so if you get there early you will wait in the hallway. Nurse Practitioner was not objective when describing birth control methods. Rather she attempted to influence and imply that some methods were more socially acceptable. Upon first impression, staff will greet you with a canned compliment. That lost it’s effectiveness after hearing every other person in the door get similar ones. Overall, the staff acts as though they don’t need patients.

I was having several health issues which eluded many doctors prior to me seeing Dr. Jukes. She was the first doctor who genuinely was concerned and wanted to help me FEEL BETTER! I had ovarian cysts, polyps/fibroids and endometriosis. My periods were extremely heavy, painful and difficult. She assessed my situation and urged removal of the fibroids and told me all my other options and told me "I was in the driver's seat." She performed my surgery to remove the fibroids, cysts, endometriosis, performed endometrial ablation and tubal ligation. She was very knowledgeable, caring and truly understood my issues and all of the emotions that go along with such medical conditions. Her staff has always been kind, knowledgeable and 100% professional. Dr. Jukes improved my quality of life tremendously, in a caring and very professional manner and I could not recommend her highly enough.
