Ruth Beckham (NP) is the provider I primarily have seen over the last 3 years. She works closely with Dr Janssen and provides excellent, competent care in a very empathetic manner. She takes all the time needed to answer my questions and address my concerns. She is prompt to get back to me via staff or email with questions also. Highly recommend her for all primary spine needs and Dr Janssen for the actual surgeries. Dr. Janssen is also extremely thorough and will take all the time necessary to address all treatment options and his recommendations. I chose him for my spine surgery after seeing him for a 2nd opinion since I didn't feel comfortable with the first surgeons plan of care. Very glad I did!

Oh how I wish I never met him. Rude, bad beside manner. Quick diagnosis, not enough time spent with patient. He delegates to his PA way too much, she is the only thing good about this office. He made my condition MUCH WORSE and then had a flippant attitude when confronted about it and an I don't care....I AM THE DOCTOR attitude.....he thinks just because he opens you...you are fixed. But first he must do the job RIGHT in order for it to be fixed.

Dr. Janssen did a great job with my spinal fusion. He is an excellent doctor and should be recommended for if you have spinal problems.

I found this doctor to be less than desired in many ways. I always felt like he was really in too much of a rush to pay attention to my needs and concerns. Kind of like "I know what is best for you, and I am too good to be questioned." The wait for EVERY appointment was incredibily long. Having to wait 2 hours to be seen when I was the 8am first scheduled appointment is just completely unprofessional - apparently they schedule 3 or 4 "1st morning appts." Though I don't knock his skill, the rest of my experience leaves too much to be desired to continue going there or recommending him in any fashion. I ended up with unexpected costs as they use "physicians assistants" which are always out of network.

Terrible all around. Avoid him like the plague! He just wants to make money and slanders other doctors in his area. He is a liar

There are other options out there!!! I don't want to be slanderous and I can only talk about my experiences. So for me, I always had to wait well over an hour for this Dr. Sure, they would get me out of the waiting room but I sat in the exam room a long time looking at all of his boat racing pictures and awards. After waiting and waiting, and was always pushed to his PA. She was AWESOME but I didn't go to a specialist to see a PA. I truly question if my health was their primary concern. In my experience, money was more important than my health. I would not recommend Dr. Janssen to anyone as I have never had a good or even decent experience at his office. In my experience, Dr. Janssen was ALWAYS late, he talked loudly about other patients in the hallway and again, he pushed me off to his PA. There are definately other options out there and I would recommend looking into those options.

I went to this physician to seek treatment for a work-related back injury. Dr. Janssen talked me into having a lumbar fusion done, and he told me it would only be one operation. It turned out being two operations. He then lied in his reports, stating he had warned me of this beforehand, which he had not. This physician was never on time, either for office appointments, or for surgery.Once, I waited an hour and forty-five minutes in his office for a pre-scheduled appointment, only to be told by his staff that he had to go out of town, and would not be able to see me that day.In my experience, I found this man to be arrogant, and dishonest.I would not refer anyone to him.
