Definitely one of the best doctors in this province

This man takes health care to another level. Amazing with children and eager to help. It's easy to tell he genuinely cares and is extremely knowledgable. I brought my 4 year old son to him with ongoing medical issues as our regular dr was out of the office. He was so patient and took the time to explain things and hear my concerns.... and even gave my son all the high 5's he requested with a smile on his face. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Dr Sutton is So kind and compassionate! I would recommend him to anyone! However, his receptionist is extremely unfriendly.

Staff can be a bit rude at times, it can be a long wait to get into him but it’s worth it. Best doctor I ever been to.

I have seen Dr. Sutton since I moved back to NL. He’s an amazing doctor. I suffer from chronic headaches and he found a doctor (specialist) that diagnosed me with a rare disorder. And he’s totally happy that I am getting the diagnosis as well as I! He is the most understanding doctor I have ever had, even after my hip surgery. Hands down one of the best ones out there! So happy that he is my family’s doctor!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Sutton now for several years. We cannot say enough good about him. He's always so caring and thoughtful. No matter how behind he is in his appointments he will always take his time and never rush you out the door. An amazing doctor all around!

One of the best doctors I've ever seen hands down. Everything from knowledge to empathy and one of the most intelligent and most knowledgeable physicians I've ever met.
only issue is, he is so good it is extremely hard to get an appointment and therefore you might be waiting long. Well worth it as he takes his time every visit.

Excellent doctor who goes the extra mile to find out what the problem is and how to fix it. He's been our family doctor for years now and is easy to talk to, takes the time to listen and he follows up with test results and other information.
There is a definite lack of friendliness with most of the front desk staff. They are near impossible to get on the phone to make an appointment and other than one or two of them, they are very unfriendly and sometimes even rude in person.
The unfortunate side effect of this doctor being so good is that it takes forever to get in to see him. Usually a couple of weeks once you actually get through on the phone to make an appointment. Expect a fairly long wait as well, most times, but I believe this is a side effect of him taking the time to listen and answer questions for each and every patient.

I had Dr. Sutton for 4 years but left the CBS area and with much thought/hesitation for months I did end up switching to a new Family Doc closer to my home (which is fabulous as well). Anyone who has Dr. Sutton as their family doctor will be blessed with a caring, knowledgeable doctor.
