I have ways been quite happy with Dr. Anderson's care. I had 2 nightmare experiences with other OBGyn's in Athens. Dr. Anderson, on the other hand , has always been great! She did a great job on my hysterectomy & even worked w/ the scheduling of another (very difficult) surgeon who had to do a related procedure while I was under anesthesia. She was incredibly cooperative and flexible. She even moved her vacation to accommodate his schedule! Because of her, I only had to be put under once. I appreciate her knowledge & have never found her to be 'cold' as some others have stated! I would recommend her to others.

Dr Anderson was wonderful throughout my high risk pregnancy. She is very professional, but is also a mother who understands the issues I had. She never talked down to me and always answered my questions completely and thoroughly. If not for her listening to my concerns, my daughter may not have survived. She delivered my beautiful daughter via scheduled c section and was on her game in the operating room. I have no complaints with Dr Anderson and would recommend her.

I was very disappointed with Dr. Anderson and the office staff with how my miscarriage was handled. When they did the first ultrasound they saw no baby in the sac and she did not prepare me at all for what would happen. They had me come in for about 6 blood tests and I still haven't even gotten to see a dr again 5 weeks after miscarriage. No ultrasound was done to make sure tissue was all gone or everything was clear. Very disappointing. They routinely call two days late with blood results if at all and never once asked what symptoms I was having or how things were. Everything I found out about how to handle miscarriage came from online or friends who had been through it. They offered no support. Absolutely no compassion. I will be finding someone else when I get pregnant again.

Dr Anderson did a very thorough but non-invasive exam of my 12 year old daughter and found a cyst that many other doctors might have overlooked. She is somewhat reserved and clinical but very professional and knowledgeable and I greatly appreciate her thoroughness and attention to the symptoms. Her staff are excellent and very caring also.

Love her! She is very laid back so maybe that would be what some would see as uncaring but she has been completely wonderful thru 2 pregnancies and births. I would and have recommended her to friends.

Very condescending. This is my first pregnancy and she really did a terrible job of informing me about common tests, procedures, and time frames. For example, to ask me when I wanted to have a chromosomal test performed she just asked, "Do you want to do this test at 12 weeks of 16 weeks?" and I had to ask her specifically: what test, how is it done, what is the accuracy rate, what's the difference between 12 and 16 weeks, etc. I had to keep re-wording my sentences to get a straight answer from her. She definitely comes across as haughty and she did not like my questions - about other topics as well - at all. She seemed to laugh at some of my concerns, though I can't be entirely certain what she was thinking. Not helpful or caring at all. Why is she an OB/GYN? I'm switching doctors immediately.

Didn't like her at all! Didn't care to listen to my concerns and discounted any feelings that I had.

Terrible. I saw several doctors and PA's in this practice back in 2005-06 and they completely ignored me. I was dealing with a painful skin irritation and Dr. Anderson jumped to the conclusion that since I was a young female in my 20's then surely my problem must be an STD -- despite my attempts to convince her that this couldn't possibly be the case. The period of my life that I was under her care was completely awful as I struggled with an undiagnosed illness. Literally every time I left her office it was with a pamphlet for a different STD in hand. Finally I visited a different doctor and was correctly diagnosed and treated immediately. I would NEVER refer Dr. Anderson or the other doctors at her office to anyone.

She unnessarily demanded to deliver by baby by c-section because she was tired of me being in labor. She wanted to go home and told me after 1 1/2 hours of pushing that it was time to do a c-section. I told her "no" and she said she had to. I will be changing to another practice for the next baby.
