Dr. Sweet and his staff were always very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see a member of his staff. Dr. Sweet explained everything thoroughly to both me and my wife before, during and after the surgery. His nurse was very helpful wit the medications before, during and after the surgery and whenever I called. Dr. Sweet's physician's assistant (Sean) was also very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Dr. Sweet honestly has the best "bedside manner" of any physician I have seen in many years. He is known for "being the best in the business" in Rockford.

I recommend Dr. Sweet to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring Spine Specialist. He is up front, honest and makes sure you know all the facts concerning your case. It has been 5 years now since my back surgery and if my family has had any concerns or questions we never hesitated to call and we always had our questions answered in a prompt manner. It is not unusual to have Dr. Sweet himself call you. His staff is wonderful and we always had quality time spent with us at our visits. Dr Sweet and his staff are the absolute best. I am 54 years old and 40 years ago I fractured my C6 vertebrae in a swimming accident. I have paralysis throughout my body from that accident, the most severe being the inability to move my left leg. Just recently I started losing the use of my right leg. Dr Sweet diagnosed the spinal stenosis around the C6 vertebrae. 6 weeks ago today he performed surgery on my neck. I am pleased to say that for the first time in 40 years I am able to move my left leg. I am able to wiggle a couple of my toes. Never in mi wildest dreams did I believe this would happen. I just hoped the outcome of the surgery would be to stop the natural degenoration and stenosis in my spine. I have a new life. God bless you Fred. Keep up the great work. Harlan Knuth

Dr. Sweet was able to repair the spine surgery done by a previous Dr. that had left me in pain for over a year. He was professional, on time, and explained my surgery in terms I could understand. I would refer anyone to him with no doubt he could help them.

Dr. Sweet is the best doctor I have ever experianced. And that is important when you are a 12 year old girl about to have scoliosis surgery. He really makes you feel so much better and more relaxed about it.

Dr. Sweet is very professional. His surgical abilities relieved my pain. I especially liked it that we prayed together prior to the surgery.
