wonderful overall, staff and dr are brilliant, couldnt ask for better help through the process! we might not have our children today with them.

I found this Doctor to be very egotistical and lacking knowledge in the field. He was not up to date on current practices. The office manager was very abrupt and rude. For such a sensitive matter, this is not the office to be.

The Hinsdale Center for Reproduction offers an environment of special sensitivity for those seeking treatment for infertility. We have impressive success rates with couples who have “washed out” of IVF treatment at other fertility centers. The Hinsdale Center for Reproduction’s approach is to use minimally invasive techniques first, to make conception as natural as possible. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of making the woman’s body whole and healthy enough for pregnancy. One of the best things I like about the office is when calling there an actual person answers the phone instead of a recording. I never felt like just another case. That kind of one-on-one interaction is unique to doctors’ offices these days. We never felt as though we were going through this highly emotional journey alone.

My beautiful baby girl is here because of Dr. Hickey! He is amazing! I love the staff too! They are extremely friendly, helpful, and supportive!

I agree with what the previous person wrote 100%!! The staff is rude and very unorganized!! Could never speak to the dr!

Be very wary of Hinsdale Center for Reproduction! As an infertility veteran with 7 IUIs, 2 IVFs, and 1 child under my belt, I sought out the HCR because I thought their smaller clinic would be more personal than a larger clinic. I was wrong. They were more unorganized and unprofessional than my previous clinic. Verbal and written communication between staff and patients was severely lacking. They took notes from my ultrasound on a paper napkin. The only opportunity I was given to ask questions was when I was in a compromising position during my ultrasound. I was misled during my IUI cycle with them and was downright LIED too. And they did not respond to my complaint. I have no complaints directly about Dr. Hickey. He was nice the one time I met him. But later when the problems arose, I requested to speak with him and he was "unavailable."
