Dr Loftus is a brilliant Doctor. He worked extremely hard to find a solution for my extreme migraines.
He is compassionate and listens to you.
He is the best Doctor I have ever had! I highly recommend him!

After being on the same drug regimen for many years and then seeing Dr. Loftus for the first time, I was told I needed to make some major dosage changes to these drugs that had kept me stable all that time. By experimenting with the quantities taken per day the end result was a recurrence of headaches; the last thing I needed. I don’t know why it was necessary to do this because it accomplished nothing. For example, you simply can’t take a patient’s blood pressure one time and then say it’s too low when your blood pressure script has kept it stable at a certain level for years. In any case, that was it for me. I did not return. It certainly was not a good experience.

Offices and staff are great. Doctor is a waste of time and money. He does not think outside the box for any treatment. I do not recommend him to anyone, and would not send my worst enemy to him.

I first starting having symptoms of numbness, tingling, burning and zinging about 3 years ago. I went to a neurologist at Kelsey Seybold where a nerve conduction study was performed and I was told I had no problem. I also was having an onset of chronic headaches. So I was prescribed lyrica and barbiturates. After a few months i could barely walk. i went for a second opinion to Dr Loftus. When I called their office and told them of my symptoms they wanted to see me immediately. He ordered an MRI and a lumbar puncture and it turned out I have RRMS. I also suffer from chronic migraines. He is the only doctor in Houston that offers in office treatment of migraines. Plus before he prescribes a med that is possibly harmful, he will run the proper tests. He is OON for my ins. but he is well worth the cost!

Dr. Loftus did not show any interest in my medical condition. He was slow and just seemed like he wanted to go to the next patient. I really do not recommend him.

Doctor was more worried about how much he was going to make off of me. He was suppose to specialize in sinus migraines, however I did not get any relief but still wanted me to continue to come in for the same treatment that was not helping, at the high cost. Told me "you do have insurance right"! Well I do believe he was OUT OF LINE!! It seems like I will be finding another doctors. Just overall, I was not satisfied, given I had sent my previous medical records, he knew my history. Was slow to email me back, had to email him several times until he finally emailed me back.

He is not covered by my insurance plan but it is worth paying out of pocket. He spends time with you and listens to you. He will even respond to a text. Unheard of from a doctor.

This doctor is without doubt the most caring doctor I have ever known. He goes out of his way to be helpful to his patients, and when you leave his office, you understand exactly what has been discussed.

Dr. Loftus is an excellent neurologist. He and his staff are very attentive to my needs. I have a chronic neurological condition. Dr. Loftus and his staff at Bellaire Neurology help me have a better quality of life.

Dr. Loftus is an exceptional doctor who is incredibly attentive to me as his patient. His staff is excellent. He is always available by e-mail & always replies or calls to discuss the issue at hand. My company changed our health insurance provisor & he is now out of network for me - but I will not leave him because of the incredible care he has gave to me over the past few years. His staff is also not only friendly, but always helpful. They have always made me feel at home and comfortable which is rather important when you walk in with a piercing migraine. Dr. Loftus is always acessible - if you call & need to see him that day, he will always accomodate your request. He giver very percise instructions and notes for each appointment and what the treatment strategy is for the next appointment. I would highly recommend Dr. Loftus to anyone & have recommended him to my friends and family - who also like his standard of care.
