Did not wash hands, seems very forgetful & prescribed wrong dosage for one of my medications. Would highly recommend steering clear of this doctor.

He did not find a pulmonary embolism, I was telling him for a year I was fainting, He conducted no extensive tests. Another doctor had me do a chest MRI and before I was home he was calling me to go to the ER. This doctor will also allow things he knows to be untrue to remain in your chart. He does not wash his hands, he was wiping up children's vomit in the next room and did not wash his hands until I asked him to. He also lacks wisdom when prescribing medication. He also spent lunch with the maker of Harvoni a hepatitis C medication, Then he tested many of his patients for hep C. I told him I had absolutely no risk factors tested me any way got the coding wrong, I had to argue with billing. I told him I do not statins, he believes everything the drug makers tell him. I know more about drug-drug interactions than he does, He is very friendly, but in a way that gets you out of his office fast, The staff especially C, J. the nurse is so nice. If you go to that office see Dr. Mehta she is the good doctor there. I am going to pursue board action against him for allowing things to remain in my chart that is untrue. We talked about it and he stated because of my above average knowledge of medications is the only reason this adverse item remains on my record. I wanted an appointment and he was out sick. See you should WASH YOUR HANDS. Unly reason for the staff downgrade is they look at the phone ring and do not answer it. I would drive there 5 mins away rather than wait on hold. I called from right outside the office door, got the usual blah how they are extremely busy they are. I walked in and they were joking around. West Allis is a poor hospital. Take five mor minutes and go to St. Lukes. Aurora also made the cost of care. One of the highest cost of care areas in the country.

Always upbeat, very knowledgeable doesn't mind being questioned about various drug options. First doctor I do not feel like I was shuffled in and out.

My family and I have been going to Dr Stolp for over 10 years and we absolutely love him! My children feel so comfortable with him and I love the way he is so intuned with us all. He gives me thorough details and never gets frustrated with the millions of questions I ask him! He will be my family doctor till my very last breath.
