He tried to treat me when I was his daughter-in-law. Absolutely unethical. So glad I am divorced.

The man is only preceded by his ego. He is a pathological liar. I've caught him in so many impossible unbelievable lies there are too many to mention here. Talks about himself through most of the session. In 4 years never addressed any issues whatsoever that were relevant to my mental health. Talks inappropriately and uses vulgar language. Extremely braggadocious. Talks about inappropriate sexual things not relevant to your treatment. The man seems to have been allowed to go Rogue with no oversight. Extremely arrogant and pompous. Everyone seems to get the same diagnosis. PTSD, bipolar affective disorder, schizoaffective disorder and borderline personality disorder. From everything I have experienced, he is incompetent and shouldn't be allowed to diagnose, counsel or prescribe medication. At least he is retiring. I never received help from him. I imagine people with less mental fortitude have been irreparably harmed by his incompetence.

Dr. Ordona helped us out a lot with our problems. He explained why we were feeling the way we were. He also explained to us about medication, PTSD. He has a great sense of humor. We will miss him from the Ft. Madison, Iowa area. God Bless him.

I have been a patient of truce for over 20 years. He will give you all the tools you need to get mentally healthy but you have to do the work. It is hard work but the end result is worth it.

We saw Dr. Ordona as he was closer to our location rather than having to go to Iowa City and he is the only adolescent psych doctor besides the U. The first visit I thought went well but the second visit showed his true colors. I will say that he did diagnose my daughter finally with the correct diagnoses of borderline personality disorder but the rest of what he has said was untrue, condescending and almost like a bully. What doctor puts in their notes that the mother looks like a dowdy, frumpy, unwed, caucasion female? he did. And then goes on to badmouth my daughter in the note. I was in complete and utter shock of how he talked about us in his note. Making up things that didn't happen. Then he leaves my daughter untreated and tells her not to come back unless she wants to. Really? I am trying to save my daughter and this is the treatment we receive. All I have is WOW and FMCH, you need to seriously think about his employment and association with you.

This guy appears to be struggling with his own personality didorder and dysfunction at the expense of his patients.
He alternates between telling stories about himself that are meant to sound impressive and speaking to his patient in mocking and glib tones. Then he makes you buy books and take a lot of
prescriptions that no other DR has said you needed. I know 3 people that have same experience with this quack. Avoid!

I seriously can believe I wasted money seeing this guy or that my primary care giver recommended him. I guess that tells me something about him too. Office looks like a bad garage sale. He cant stress his importance enough. Talked bad about the staff and other doctors. Talked on the phone with names of people of I know. HIPPA?? Everything has sexual content. Foul mouth. Gets most of his information from wikipedia. Plays music when he runs out of nice things to say about himself. Talks about his money. Claims to be a neurologist NOT. I not a nurse or a doctor but can tell you he knows nothing about neurology. I'm shocked that this hospital allows incompetence at this level. I will be looking elsewhere for all care!

Yep same diagnosis post traumatic stress. Borderline personality disorder. Is bipolar w anxiety disorder. After about 6. Months of reminders of how crappy my life was and mistakes he put in report and read back. Never worked to future just rehash past. And then I'm busy you go out n get refill orders. Then took them away. Said I needed lab work. Report came back impossibly wrong. Wouldn't talk to me as to why all the sudden labs needed. None of meds I took showed up but 1 but somehow the UA was dirty. No way. Never even talked about pot in sessions ever. All the sudden there it was and I swear I would admit if I did. But no explanation given. He dropped me. Verifying report because I know I don't use and why was I suspect. Made the nurse tell me. Said I was angry . I was asking nicely why did he do that. Our session was good. I was making progress. He laughed at something unkind my daughter said and made me tell it to a student sitting in. Unprofessional. Said I'd never make it any diiference in my life. Quoted stuff I never heard of and what did it mean? Nothing to do with my issues.. wolf in sheep's clothing. How much mental confusion do I have now? More damage than I can handle under great stress anyway. Now no doc and no meds no explanation. Boy first impressions don't count here. Disappointment and no mental health care provider to turn to. Tell me why Dr. O...why

Stay away! He overdose people w meds. Then lies about them in his reports. Pstd seems to be game. He can't find his way out of a paper bag let along help some else.
