I've never had a more caring doctor. Sure, you don't get to see her every appointment because she's in the office only half the time, the other half she's delivering babies. She was there for all 4 of my c-sections and did an amazing job. Every nurse that checked my incision could tell that Dr. Burstyn did the surgery because it was so neat well done. She has a wonderful bedside manner and really, truly cares about her patients.

I have never met a doctor who cares so little for her patients. Appalled that she even has a license.

I was born in 2006 and Dr. Burstyn wanted my mom to terminate her pregnancy. But my mom said no. I'm just saying my life is good and I'm glad my mom didn't terminate me! So you could say I'm mad finding this out.

Dr. Burstyn has no bedside manner. She doesn’t seem to truly care about her patients. Additionally, her record keeping is poor and the staff at Capital Region Obstetrics & Gynecology LLC is sub-par. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I cannot even tell you how severely disappointed I am in the "Manager" (who never even told us his name) of Dr. Burstyn's office (her husband). We never even were seen by Dr. Burstyn so I cannot tell you anything about that because we were refused care because of a form we would not sign. The form indicates that even if it is an INN network provider, if some ambiguous amount of time goes by and they do not get paid--they can BALANCE BILL YOU. Which is not allowed for INN providers-EVER. So not only should the form never be an issue, the fact that he tried to get us to sign it in order to be see is asinine. The fact that nobody reads what they are signing these days is even MORE DISTURBING. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE FIRST IMPRESSION WAS TERRIBLE. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. PEOPLE SHOULD BE MORE AWARE AND NOT IGNORANT OF THE THINGS THEY ARE SIGNING. THEY SHOULD NOT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO HAVE PATIENTS SIGN THAT FORM EITHER.

Dr Burstyn is VERY PROFESSIONAL. She delivered my baby at 3 am and looked so put together as if it was 9 am. She then saw me again at the hospital in the evening after her office hours and was very attentive to my needs. I recommend her for everyone who is looking for an obgyn!

First off, there is a young lady there (an ultrasound tech) who is an amazing and compassionate person...

That's where the positives end. My wife and I called at the beginning of a weekend, with my pregnant wife experiencing symptoms of a miscarriage. Burstyn told us to wait to go in on Monday. My wife spent the entire weekend in physical and emotional pain, with the worry that something was wrong. We got the bad news on Monday, and learned that next time, even when the attending says "sit tight" we're going to the ER anyway.

And Burstyn told us that Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome is an old wives tale, not a real thing...

I have never been treated so poorly as a patient. The nurses take days to get back to the patients regarding tests results and prescription refills. I saw Dr. Daniel and she diagnosed me with cancer.. she then told me that she was not willing to give me any sort of pain medication and that basically I just should suffer. They took forever to get me a apt with a Oncologists. They told me over the phone that I had cancer which I thought was so unprofessional. The fees for testing is a huge rip off and they try to get money out of you before sending the claim to be processed though insurance. When I disagreed with a charge from one of my apts I had to fight with the billing company to even take a second look at the charges. This has been nothing but a terrible awful experience as a patient. Being told you have cancer and then have to fight with the office to even get you to call them back is unacceptable. I would never recommend this office to ANYONE!
