II HAD TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENTS FIRST APRIL LEFT KNEE ,JULY RIGHT KNEE.
I AM A RETIRED NURSE AND WAS ADVISED BY SOOO MANY PEOPLE TO GO TO NEW YORK.
I COULD HAVE THEM BOTH DONE AT THE SAME TIME. I READ ON LINE IT WAS NOT
RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE OVER 70, ALTHOUGH MANY SURGEONS DO IT.
I SPOKE WITH MY PRIMARY MD. HE SAID HE HAD MANY PATIENTS WHO
WENT TO NY,SOME DID WELL OTHERS NOT SO GOOD. I AM A WIDOW AND INDEPENDENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME.
I WENT WITH DR ROSA
AND BOTH SURGERIES WERE FINE . MY RECOVERY WAS OUTSTANDING. MY FIRST PT SAID IN 27 YEARS SHE HAD NEVER SEEN A PATIENT DO SO WELL SO QUICKLY. MY SECOND SURGERY WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST.I
COULD GO ON ABOUT HIM BUT I MUSY COMMET ABOUT JENNIFER HIS PA.
SHECOMPLETES HIM, ALWAYS RESPONDS AND FULL OF SUPPORT FOR THE PATIENT.

In mid-December ’22, I had total knee replacement by Dr. Richard Rosa, Summit Health, West Orange, NJ. I am completely pleased with the result. I was walking un-aided and didn’t need the pain meds (oxycodone) within 2 days of surgery. I had read about the long, painful recovery from TKR surgery for years and was ready. The most painful part of my recovery was the physical therapy. I’m 30 days out now. My result was much better than I had anticipated and I’m very optimistic about the future. I attribute my incredible result to the skill of my surgeon.

TKR with conformis, in November, little pain full range of motion at 7 weeks post op. So pleased with Dr. Rosa having next knee done in July.

I am 2 months post-op knee replacement and the surgery was a success. The rehab is going well. Dr. Rosa has the utmost professionalism, knowledge, and a very respectful patient communication. To me, he is the best orthopedic surgeon!

I jut had total knee replacement with a Conformis custom made knee replacement. I am 6 weeks out and I have full flexibility, no pain. Outstanding process and the hospital St Barnabas in Livingston New Jersey, was excellent. I highly recommend Dr Rosa if you’re looking for a total knee replacement. The conformis technology far outweighs the typical off-the-shelf knee replacement.

I had my knee replaced in July. 2019 I can't believe I live so long with a painful knee. Dr Rosa made me feel comfortable on my first visit I was able to walk down the flight of stairs. and danced in his office. i am having my second knee replace in January 2029
