Prompt service, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. took as much time as needed to explain my situation and answer any questions I had. Staff followed up to insure I was not having any issues or questions.

When I was diagnosed with kidney stones I let Dr. Levin know what meds I was on, one of which could cause kidney stones. He refused to pursue that possibility by saying it was only my diet. The type of stone he told me I had was incorrect. I continued to produce stones and after a hospitalization with a serious infection caused by a rather large stone, he pushed me off onto a collegue without my consent. I continued to produce kidney stones and when I went for further tests it took 2 weeks for the collegue to tell me that I had an 8mm stone that needed to be removed surgically very soon. It was a few days before a long holiday weekend and there was no concern on the doctor's part for what should be done or when. I consulted another doctor and was referred to another urologist who realized immediately that the med I was on was causing the kidney stones and that the type of kidney stone I was producing was not the same as the first doctor told me, he did the surgery the next day.

An absolutely superb physician. I had gone to Memorial Sloan Kettering for a prostrate problem first, and was disappointed with being treated as just a number and with their eagerness to assume it was cancer and treat. Dr. Levine was methodical, calm, confident, efficient, and had a quiet reassurance. When tests were done (which came back just fine), they were done with text-book finesse. One of a kind.
