I have been going to see Dr. Palmer for several year. I would swear he couldn't pick me out in a lineup. I went in for an appointment the other day in severe pain because I hurt my back. I came in an hour before my appointment because I couldn't bear the pain anymore. They stated that he was getting ready to go to lunch but he would see me. After getting put in the waiting room and walking right past the doctor I was met with a nurse practitioner who was unable to give me anything for pain. In all my years going there I never asked for any kind of pain medication. apparently going to lunch was more than important than his patient of five years. Now I sit in pain pill and x-ray comes back. This is just the last straw, I put up with long wait times, embarrassing questions at the front desk, in front of all the other patients, about my insurance and personal information. The place is a madhouse I've definitely be changing my primary.

I have been going to Dr. Plummer for 10 years now and started going to the clinic because I could never get an appointment with my primary physician at the time. There were times in the 10 years that I didn't have insurance, so I paid cash. It didn't matter what the situation, I have made Dr. Plummer my primary physician and couldn't ask for a more thorough and caring doctor. He's been there helping me with something as minor as an upper respiratory infection to recently a more severe that required a 2nd hospitalization....a bacterial infection in my tendons due to a scorpion sting that went into my blood stream. He's a wonderful doctor and has NEVER once preached the Bible to me nor my husband who also goes to Dr. Plummer. God Bless you Dr. Plummer, and thank you for all you do for your patients!!!

I have come to Gulf Coast Medical Center as my primary care for over 10 years and Dr. Plummer is my provider of record. I don't always get to see him due to his schedule but the other providers covering the day have been fine. Dr. Plummer primarily treats relativly minor acute problems and moderately complex chronic diseases. He knows when to refer to specialists. I trust his judgement with my problems although they are not yet anything too serious.

I have never known a doctor as compassionate and caring as Dr. Plummer, not to mention he is a fantastic doctor. I have and will recommend him to others. As far as the small notice saying he believes in the power of prayer...well thats fine. The man doesnt preach to you while he is taking good medical care of you!

I got hurt while traveling to Houston. I saw a doctor in Houston that gave me pain medication and told me to get back home as soon as possible to get thoroughly checked out. I came home as soon as possible to see Dr. Plummer and told him everything. He was very rude and uncompassionate. He told me that he didn't think anyone could be in the amount of pain I descried and couldn't believe a doctor would give me the pain medication I received. He did have a large poster stating "I am doctor Plummer, I believe in the power of prayer for healing, If you would like me to pray for you to make you feel better than just ask" I believe in God but I also believe he gave us doctors to help us. I will never go back to see Dr. Plummer and would not recommend anyone to see him. He acted like I was a burden, and like someone who was miserable himself.
