My father followed Dr Rose’s advice for angina for many years…. He was diagnosed with this condition in his fifties and even if dr’s from the hospital wanted to operate my father was worried and DR Rose guided him toward managing his conditions differently… Reducing his stress by retiring and adopting a very strict diet (0 fat, barely any meat etc)…. This lasted for many years with my father limiting his life and activities. I remember my father telling us how hearing from Dr Rose that athletes like him where very difficult to operate due to the size and strength of the hearth muscle convinced him he was doing the right thing. Besides he trusted Dr Rose and the meetings every 6 month made him feel safe and in control of his situation.

This guidance and monitoring lasted over 10 years and until my father suffered from a hearth attack, a major one….. By some miracle he was shocked back to life within minutes thanks to fireman who happen to pass bye.

While in his coma they operated him and realized he had multiple arteries blocked. The operation to unblock his hearth in 5 different areas lasted about 1.5 hours and went very well.

My father is back with us now thanks to God and wonderful Dr’s at Sacré Coeur.

To this day I struggle to understand how Dr Rose’s monitoring never was able to identify how my father’s condition was slowly deteriorating to this point. Why would he never strongly recommend a deeper analysis then a stress test during 12+ years of following his condition.

If a loved one has hearth issues, I would recommend you go to Sacré-Coeur or any specialized care. Dr Rose seems to me to be completely out of touch with the current technologies and methods used by cardiologist and strikes me as a dinosaure of his field who may be causing more harm then good.

My father and I spoke of Dr Rose once since he was brought back and we agreed never to mention his name again in our family. For years I tried to get my father to see another Dr…. Now he only sees his team of experts at Sacré Coeur and he is in better health at 75 then he was from his fifties to his hearth attack.

Dr Rose took the time to look at the ECG and explain.
When I mentioned my concerns he showed interest and made an additional check of my heart beat.
Was very polite and understanding.
Answered all my questions with patience and understanding.
Highly recommended!!!

I really appreciated my discussion with Dr. Rose. He showed me my stress EKG results and discussed them. He also recommended Kardia care personal EKG if I was worried. I had already bought one but said I didn't know how to interpret the results. He said I could send him results I was worried about and he would look at them. I have done that a few times and he always looks at the results and sends me back the info. I am really happy with him.

My visit to Dr. Rose was somewhat pivotal for me. I'd been suffering from allergic reactions to various pills I was taking. He told me diltiazem was not necessary in my situation and whlle I did not take his advice on stopping blood thinners which I did stop anyway and have had no ill side effects (I'm very allergic to dairy which most capsule meds include) overall his assessment that my heart was OK was important to me. I did a treadmill test and passed. Honestly reading the other reviews on his opinions on diet was a surprise as it was not brought up in our meeting.

Dr. Rose is a pompous abusive prick. He does little as a cardiologist and refuses to provide any tests. If you are able to get through "stress test" on a treadmill - that's it. Instead he will talk to you for hours about diet - considering himself a specialist and assuming that everyone else is eating junk without even asking a patient about their routine. When he was checking me he squeezed my belly and said - there is too much. I consider it an abuse. Probably going to report.

I was really happy that Physimed had an appt right away for me and now I know why! This doctor should not be in practice. Explained had chest pains two weeks earlier for few days and heart palpitations. He just reads your results says all looks well but doesn’t send you for any further testing and sends you on your way. Do not even bother and go see a real cardiologist that’s affiliated with a hospital. Admin staff are friendly. The lady who did the running and heart test is very cold and says she doesn’t know when you ask questions
