Doctor Sullivan did aortic valve replacement surgery on my father who was 83 at the time of the procedure. The surgery went very well, thanks to Dr. Sullivan--no complications.In less than 2 wks, my father was back home, back on his feet. The surgeon was very professional,exact in his description of what he planned to do. Due to his busy schedule,it should not be expected that he will sit and chit chat, however, since he's a surgeon on the go. The most important part of his job is that he knows what he's doing and he does it well.He didn't give false expectations--he was realistic and straightforward. He wanted to get to the job as soon as possible and not delay, especially considering the state my father was in. My father had voluntarily delayed surgery for 3 yrs. After the procedure, the doctor said that my father's valve was one of the worst he had encountered in a living person throughout his career;but the surgery went well and my father is now 85.

Dr sullivan is an excellent cardiac surgeon. When my husband needed surgery, Dr Sullivan is the one I sent him to. He had a triple bypass and came out with no complications!!

HE HAS A GOOD REPUTATION FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD, YET HE IS LACKING IN PEOPLE SKILLS. HE IS SOMEWHAT ARROGANT (DOES NOT USE PATIENT'S NAME ETC.)
