Dr. Rigdon has helped me more than the other doctors I have been to. With his knowledge had me taking test that found my cancer. He has helped me with all of the other issues that have presented themselves. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Rigdon has been my Primary Care Physician for approximately 30 years. I find Him, as well as his seafood, very helpful, compassionate, and dependable. When I first met Dr. Rigdon, I was a young 20 something year old with no medical proble,. After my daughter was born in 1987, I becam very ill with some very serious (life threatening) medical problems & Dr, Rigdon and his entire office supported me throughout it all. I've had two halo's, two looser back surgeries, a massive stroke which was very dibilitating , and currently I suffer from seizures due to the stroke. If not for the dedication and time he spent with me during my visits at the hospital as well as his office,, I probably wouldn't be here today to type this comment.

Maybe I can help. I just moved here from California and have an appointment next week. I will let you know how it goes. I do know that it is quite normal to prescribe anti-depressants today. In fact, it the number one drug given. Any wonder why today???? Everything is screwed up! Anyway, I don't work for a doctor. I'm an Electrical Engineer that works as a defense contractor at Patrick AFB. I'll give you my honest opinion. Engineer's are pretty tough on doctors.

My mother has seen this doctor for quite a while and loved him. She landed in the hospital a week ago for a cardiac event. Her heart rate was 160. While in the ER I started going over her past blood test which Mr. Rigdon ordered a month ago. Her potassium was 5.6 and she NEVER got a call or any notification from the good ole doc. This is probably what landed her in the hospital with a cardiac event for a week. Her heart is now working at 25%. Before this she was playing tennis and walking everyday. Needless to say I would not send a cockroach to this guy.

Myself and my wife have had excellent service from the doctor and his staff. I think it is quite possible that some of these negative comments and evaluations may be being made by his competitors or their staff. How do you print this stuff with our ever knowing if these people are actually his patients. Why would a GP be prescribing an anti depressant instead of a mental health professional? Having worked in health care for 37 years I can see right away that comment must be wrong. I would take what is being said here with a grain of salt unless advised by my doctor not to.

Constantly looking to churn the bill. Testing done in his office with incomplete results communicated to me. Had me on a heart medicine at max dose that was causing worse problems. Went to a Cardiologist who took me off of the max dose medicine and the problem was alleviated. This and the difficulty of getting prescription refills were the straw that broke the camels back.
Medicine is not really practice ed here as you will see a PA or Nurse Practioner 80 percent of the time. On the q time in 5 when you do see this Doctor he is unprepared and rushing to get you out the door.

I saw Dr. Rigdon today and he was right on time. I have seen him for several years and he actually saved my life by finding hidden heart condition in me. His staff is always attentive, answers calls personally and he is truly a caring physician. I see how others have negative views but I suspect they are unhappy for personal or financial issues. He is well respected in this community that I have lived in for many years. He volunteers for local schools and organizations. I would highly recommend him for comprehensive primary care. Don't listen to the other negative comments.

Held me hostage for payment. Ran out of med and needed new prescription for anti depression med. Said the only way would call in new one was if I paid past due balance. You can't just not take your anti depression med.

just horrible. Cares only about adding unneeded tests to boost his revenue. Constantly adding new tests to take and calls them "preventative" medicine. Better hope you have good ins that covers all the expensive testing. And if your ever in the hospital don't expect to see him.
