Dr.Dotson and her nurse are wonderful. She is very sincere and truly cares for her patients. The staff is an entirely different story. Her new office is a bit like a dump, but she is well worth the sacrifice.

Dr. Dotson is a very sympathetic and caring doctor. Her office staff is hit or miss depending on who you get. Her MA Connie is super and does all she can to get any info you need to Dr Dotson when you call or walk in. I dislike her Kiva office and really miss her old office staff, but she still does a wonderful job and cares for her patients. You can really tell she feels for her patients and lets them ask as many questions as they want without rushing them, and yet somehow she doesn't make patients wait too long to be seen. I love her enough to put up with her inconsistent (and sometimes rude!) staff.

she dose not talk to you she send some one in her office to do it iv had blood work done 2 times in 3 years and she hasnt even read my medical records she said i have infection and gose i dont know if it belongs there if she read my files she would know whats going on with me she should know whats shes doing since she is a doc and she dont she cant even take time to call you her self and talk i will be looking for a new doctor that can help me

When you call to ask a question you may be talking to someone from an outside agency. It's very difficult to get the correct message across to them. When they do reply, it is one of her techs that you talk to. Also, the techs call you with the results of any tests, good news or bad news. The doctor never talks to you. If you have questions for her, here we go again, the tech calls you back and with their limited medical knowledge, they try to explain the results.

I love Dr. Dotson. She is very nice and is very good with all the members of my family. She takes same-day appts and her staff and she will work with you on scheduling. She is a great listener and has a fabulous manner about her. She didn't blow me off when I came to her about a viral infection and did everything she could to make sure it wasn't bacterial. She is also a great pediatrician! A+++
