I am recovering from a hernia procedure and I would give Dr. Bird a +++++++++ star rating if there were more stars to use to rate him. I have had a lot of health issues over the years so I know right from the start of my visit what kind of doctor I'm dealing with. Not only does he make time to explain everything that will take place, he can do so with a sense of humor. In other words, he's human :) Do not hesitate to come under his care. I only wish there were more like him!!

Dr.Bird is a caring and down to earth person, he's not at all uppity I have seen a lot of surgeons after taking care of family members they answered our questions but with no feeling like Dr. Bird.he carries a conversation with you " with a smile" and thats so important. Patients are scared before and after surgery when he comes I to the room he sets you at ease not only the patients but the family also. He took care of my mother last month, she had inches of her Lg.Intestions and sm.Intestions removed and being 74 yrs.old she was so scared. But he was so professional & caring with her. To me he is a 1 in a million Dr.and thats so hard to find these days.to me he has been brought down from Heaven to care for patients as he does.thank you so much Dr. Bird for being such a caring and friendly person that you are.and thank you for taking such Good care of my Mother, she is my bestfriend as well as my mother. * D.Joslyn * :)

Dr. Bird was professional, knowledgeable and above all, NICE! I would reccommend him to anyone, he addressed all my questions before my gallbladder surgery and was truly honest about prognosis. I don't like a doctor who sugar coats things, and he was sure to give me all the information I needed. Follow up was thoughtful and thorough too!

Dr. Bird did both my husbands and my gallbladder surgery. He also removed a cyst from my chest. He is an awesome doctor. Wish there were more like him. You will be in great hands. Highly recommend. Doc, you rock!!!!

What a sweetheart! He performed my husband's emergency surgery and treated us warmly and professionally and is a great doctor. Caring, compassionate, and truly seems to care about his patient and their family. Explains well, takes time for questions, gives straight forward answers. Couldn't have asked for a better person and doctor. Our older children and others waiting for my husband to return to his room from surgery assumed Dr. Bird was a nurse. He and an operating room nurse wheeled my husband back to his room late that night and everyone thought he was a young nurse! I told them, "No, he's the surgeon!" They couldn't believe it. He is so unassuming and down to earth, not at all uppity like some physicians can be with family. We appreciate you, Dr. Bird. We'll never forget the help and care you provided.
