First experience went well. At first the staff and Dr. Rawe were very nice and helpful. After 2-3 check ups and calls for questions and concerns I was told by the PA and Dr. Rawe that I was wasting their time. I have been very skeptical and worried about the surgery due to the severity of the procedure. I feel as if the office deals with it on a regular basis and does not see the side of the patient who could be very hesitant to have a spinal cord surgery. I was told of a potential surgical date by Dr. Rawe and was given time to think about it. I called that day to confirm. I have now waited 3-4 business days without any response on a potential surgical date.

have had nothing but problems since he preformed spinal fusions. I would never refer anyone to him. He followed up once after the last surgery. I never heard from his office again and really I saw his Nurse Practitioner not him at last visit. He had to redo both fusions and resented my attaining a second opinion. This forced him to treat my pain and have surgery again. I have never been so upset. All I can say is advocate for yourself!

Dr Rawe is very thorough and knowledgeable about his profession. He takes time to go over everything and explain in detail what needs to be done. He is a very caring person not always on time but well worth the wait

Dr rawe ruined 3 people in my family. He's real nice until you have the surgery. Then he's rude to you. He explained to me how he was going to place the plate and screws in my back, it made sense. I agreed to have the surgery. He sent his assistant in visits after surgery. When it was time for my 6wks checkup, I had to go by the hospital for x-rays. After receiving the x-rays, I realized he didn't do what he said he was going to do. I went for the office visit, and saw his assist. I question what he had done and she said she guessed he changed his mind. Due to the way he did the surgery, my screws wallered loose and no bone graPh was found. 4 yrs. later I had to have the surgery again by a different doctor. I would not let him work on any of my family again. To be honest with you, I think more of my cat than let dr. Rawe work on him.

Dr.Rawe is as good as it gets. I had seen so many docs over a 6 year period for my back pain. He ordered all the appropriate tests to find the problem. I was in horrible pain everyday until he did surgery. I forgot what life was like without pain until i met Dr Rawe. He gave me my life back. I'm 26 and I finally feel my age. Thank you Dr Rawe. Words can't express what you did for me.

I saw Dr. Rawe in 1993 when I was had back pain. I had seen several physicians and given many different treatments. My daughter was a nurse down at Roper Hospital and had worked with Dr. Rawe and recommended him. It was the best thing in the world that I could have done. Dr. Rawe did surgery and to this day I have not had any problems. He is the best.

Dr. Rawe is a pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring doctor. He was able to help me with a health issue that other doctors missed. Dr. Rawe listened to me, performed a thorough exam, ordered tests, and offered advice for next steps. WOW, I wish all doctors used this approach.
