Dr Wakefield and staff were all wonderful. I had a back fusion and it has changed my life. I went in with questions and worries and both Dr. . Wakefield and Sean answered anything I asked. They took plenty of time with me and I didn't ever feel rushed. The most difficult part of the surgery was the brace I wore for 6 weeks . It was no doubt
uncomfortable, but worth it. You need to listen to what they tell you to do and do it. I walked everyday for a
minimum of 30 minutes, if not more after my surgery. I couldn't be happier and it's the best I've felt in years. I was off any pain pills (narcotics) after my first week and took extra strength Tylenol instead. I would never go to anyone BUT Dr. Wakefield for something as serious as spine/back issues. You need to trust and have complete faith in your doctor and I did. Very happy with the outcome!!

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Wakefield in Windsor for intense neck and upper back pain. I got pawned off on this incompetent nurse (Annette Eppler), and never even met the doctor. After wasting three months of my time, and a few thousand dollars, she told me that there was nothing wrong with me and that I should go for walks. I have since discovered via more comprehensive x-rays, and a competent professional that I have several disc issues. Do not waste your time or money in this office.

Oh my! My experience was exactly like the post from Jan 10, 2014.

Attentive before the surgery, after the surgery I was told that there wasn't any reason for my pain. Turned out to be permanent nerve damage. Had to continually chase and push for tests and results. Really tough to even get a call back. Took forever. After nerve damage disgnosis they couldn't wait to shove me out the door . The surgery money money was paid so I was no longer a cash cow. Take the pills and go home.

This is scary. Chronic pain!

After calling twice for the pre-visit packet to be sent, I never received it. Waited over 2 hours to be seen. Saw Sean, the PA, who was knowledgeable but obviously in a hurry. Left me with many unanswered questions. Office was to send a referral to pain clinic Doctor and a report to my referring Doctor. Over 5 weeks of waiting, leaving messages and talking to other doctors' offices, neither had received them. Dr Wakefield's staff did admit there had been a mistake and they never sent them. They (Rebecca) was nice and apologetic. I never spoke with Dr Wakefield so I cannot comment on him.

Never even saw this doctor. They shoved me off onto a rude, condescending nurse named Annette Eppler. She kept me waiting a full hour. After the first visit; sent me for an xray and 12 sessions of P.T. I had to wait six weeks for a follow up appointment. At follow up, she was a hour late again, and proceeded to tell me that my problem was muscular and not neurological, and that walking 30 minutes a day would help(arrogantly presuming that I don't already do at least that). A phone call after the xray would have saved me a lot of time and thousands of dollars. Thanks for NOTHING!!!!
