I've sometimes had to wait a long time, but that's because Dr. Komer gives you as much time as you need. I never feel rushed with him; quite the opposite: he listens carefully, and asks lots of questions. His approach is to request a lot of tests to get a baseline, and to see you twice a year. For some, this is too much; for me, it makes me feel cared for. A great old-school doctor -- see him now, before his kind all retire.

I've been a patient of Dr. Komer for about seven years. He is a wonderful doctor who spends a good amount of time with his patients. His focus is on preventative care, self help and nutrition. If you want your doctor to just fix everything for you, Dr. Komer is probably not the right match for you. However if you are interested in participating in improving the quality of your own health, Dr. Komer has the interest and experience to help you out. I always leave my yearly appointment feeling healthy and empowered.

What a find!!!! I loved his bed side manner and the way he believes in preventative medicine. He tries to get you healthy not with prescriptions after you are sick but with nutrition ideas, vitamins, exercise and a healthy lifestyle. He said to me when a balked at the exercise thing...Why would you not give yourself 1 hour a day...don't you think you are worth it? On my first appointment he gave me 1 hr and 45min!!! He wanted my input on my health and wanted to work WITH me to keep me healthy. He sent me for many tests to get an in depth report on my current state of health. His feel is lets see where you are now so we can work from there to keep you going in the right direction. I loved this guy. A great combination of old school and new school.
