Dr. Laurie is my PCP and I find her thorough, engaged, and informative. She took the time to discuss particular questions with me and explain hormone levels and neurotransmitter activity. She’s not “southern sweet,” for sure, but that’s what I like about her - she’s straight-forward, very competent and assured, and attentive. She also has a great sense of humor! She discussed both diagnostic and medical health questions and lifestyle with me. I recommend her.

This doctor was unprofessional and unhelpful. She ignored serious medical condition eventually treated by another doctor.

After doing some online research and checking with a pharmacist, I determined Dr Laurie told me blatantly wrong information about a drug. I no longer trust her with my health care and will look for another physician.

Dr. Laurie has been my doctor for 15 years. I have always found her to be friendly, courteous, and helpful. Equally important, she is smart and knows her medicine. She doesn't linger for unnecessary chit-chat, but that's fine with me because I'm busy too! On the other hand, if I have a concern, she takes all the time needed to discuss it to my satisfaction. At one point, I had a serious medical issue. Dr. Laurie was very concerned and supportive, and she made sure I saw the right specialists. I highly recommend Dr. Laurie.

Dr. Laurie alienated me in the first 10 minutes of the appointment. She did not listen to me and made snarky comments to my mother (who had come with me for support). I went to her for help and instead she was arrogant and dismissive. I would not recommend Dr. Laurie to anyone and am writing this to, hopefully, save someone in the future from the same experience I had.

Dr. Laurie was cold, arrogant and dismissive. If you have thyroid issues she ONLY LOOKS AT TSH. Useless office visit with a rude woman.

Never asks questions nor touches the patient. Charges double for office visits if you ask for a prescription, treats my husband much better than myself. I feel that she looked down on me since I am not a PH.D like my husband. He has stayed with her, I have left.

Dr. Laurie was very rushed. If I hadnt mentioned the fact that i had a large lump on my shoulder she would have never dropped my gown to look at it. She was quick to assume that my pain was caused by arthritis instead of an injury. She also prescribed a med for me that was never discussed in the office. I was surprised when cvs called to tell me that my prescription for meloxicam was ready when i had no idea she was prescribing it. If she had asked, i would have told her i had been on it before without good results.

I have been seeing Dr. Laurie for about 2.5 years. I switched to her from another internist. A friend recommended her. She is thorough, compassionate and has always been helpful. I recommend her highly...
