Dr. Harway needs to retire!

She did not have the correct women's post-op shoe so she tried to get me to wear a men's size Large which my foot was swimming in and then she suggested I could wear a pair of cowboy boots as they'd be just as good...could you imagine trying to squeeze a foot with 2 broken toes into cowboy boots?

She made snide remarks about the degree of my osteoporosis thinking she was being humorous. Also stated a healthier diet won't help the osteoporosis only prescription drugs.

Overall this was one of the most frustrating and deflating Dr. office visits I have every had...shame on you Dr. Harway!

I thought she was very helpful. She listened, showed compassion and worked with me on a plan of action.

I have had a shoulder injury for the past two years that keeps me up at night and pops and clicks every time I move it. I waited 2 months for an appointment to see this so called 'Doctor'. After moving my arm around for a few minutes and totally dismissing everything that I said, she told me that I was perfectly fine and she saw no justification at all for an MRI. She went on to tell me that her practice was not for that. Amazed by this comment, I told her that I needed help and that they were there to help me; she then literally laughed in my face and asked me if I would help her....WOW. Pathetic example of our current medical professionals. This woman thinks she is GOD.

My experience with Dr. Harway was the worst I've had. She didn't listen to a thing I said and didn't care what my concerns were. When I told her what problems were still presenting themselves she dismissed it entirely and said it looked like a healthy knee when 2 days prior my knee felt like a jigsaw puzzle with bits floating around and I still struggled with walking and stairs, that is not a healthy knee. She recommended I go back to work, which is manual labor, even though I struggle just to walk my dog. "I see 40 knees a day and I just don't see anything wrong with yours and you don't justify an MRI". I wouldn't recommend her and I have no intention of subjecting myself to another 10 minute round of her basically calling me a liar.

This woman was kind, gentle, informative, concerned. She told me more than my own doctor knew just by looking at my xrays. She patted me gently as she explained and she was overall someone I would go see again in a heart beat. Staff was friendly, waiting room clean. Assistant was kind and humorous even when I was feeling poorly, which cheered me up. She is very good at what she does and she cared. Big plus, to me.

I've never in my 50 years found a doctor so UNETHICAL in her practrice. My 24 yr old son needs surgury because of frequent shoulder dislocations ten plus times a day and MRI results comfirm this. She has refused because he takes pain medication due to a broken back and partially severed spine because of a motor cycle accident. Then she had the nerve to ask my son if he has a high school diploma. Yes he does! That he should go to collge because he'll never be able to do manual labor. She broke down an already broken young man that's passion was and is working with his hands. If anyone asks me about Dr. Elena Harway find any doctor "BUT HER"

This was very expensive. I visited twice after a shoulder dislocation. She did not examine me very much, but seems knowledgeable and has all these plagues to prove it. Turns out, that my Physical Trainer (see David Jeffrey) noticed that i must have a tare. Had she examined me, we would have known earlier and my frozen shoulder could have been avoided. Dr. Harway put off my physical training 3 weeks, which resulted in my frozen shoulder. When I came again with my MRIs, she looked briefly and did not explain what they ment at all. I tried to find out. She just send me off for more physical training. I still don't know how much i tore and what part. All i know, is that i have a huge bill.
