Dr. Rascoe is very congenial, pleasant, and gives plenty of time and attention to patients. He gives a very good impression of caring about his patients, and if you never have to see him for anything more complex than strep throat, you may be very pleased. He is knowledgeable and supportive about alternative therapies. He tends to want to give people what they want, which makes many patients leave happy. However, my family learned the hard way that if you have anything difficult or out of the ordinary, this is not the doctor to go the extra mile to help. Not only can he be dismissive of concerns that might require him to do extra research on a patient, but he has combatted efforts to seek necessary help for a patient if it is not a financial benefit to his hospital/clinic/health plan company. His behavior was concerning enough to warrant consideration of a report to the Texas Medical Board. We are not the only family in the area to have such an experience with Dr. Rascoe.

It has been my privilege to have Dr. Terry Rascoe as my primary care physician for over 15 years. He is the most caring, knowledgeable and helpful doctor that I have every met. I recommend him whenever possible. He always makes you feel as though you are his number 1 concern. He always takes as much time as you need. He is the BEST!
