I can't comment as she will know who it is but since leaving I have no appendix and now I have breast cancer and it did not just appear. Thanks for nothing.

I just found out that Dr Woudstra has moved on and one thing that is true in life is you don,t realize what you have until you loss it. I am in my early 60,s and have seen many doctors through my life but she by far gave 150% effort. Doctors in whole are under paid especially compared to lawyers and politicians She has been the best doctor in my life so far and I do not believe any new doctor will compete with my experience with her as my family doctor.

Ding doing the witch is dead. Good riddance. You are a horrible and the owner is just as horrible for not seeing her inadequacy. My dad has dementia the fact that she couldn't see that nor listen to my mom when she came to speak to her speaks volumes for her ineptitude and the screening process for Dr moulzan hiring doctors to represent him speaks volumes for his dedication to his business practise and patients. I've had better services from the duncan general Hospital which speaks volumes for this operation.

My husband went in because he had a suspect looking mole she told him it was fine and he was "too young for it to be anything" and did not do any further tests. Thankfully I pushed him to see another doctor because it was melanoma and he required 2 surgeries to have it all removed.

I was looking for a well-rounded knowledgable Doctor and because their is an extreme shortage in Mill Bay, I chose to seek out in Shawnigan Lake. At first, I was thrilled that she was older and thought she would be their for me and my concerns, and what a mistake! I have never been to a doctor who sluffs off your concerns so quickly as it maybe being in your head or this is your makeup. Due to her incompetence, I had a serious life threatening incident, so stay away from her.

Initially I thought Dr. Woudstra was great, she came across as receptive, proactive and straight forward. However, there was a serious oversight made on her part with regard to a medical condition (which proceeded to worsen dramatically). Of course, apologies were made but from that point on she was very rude and very unprofessional, insinuating that there was some "over-dramatization" of the situation going on. Wow! What kind of doctor accuses a patient of play-acting, as though they are a little kid trying to skip out of school?

Dr Woudstra is a pleasure to see - I have found her to be knowledgeable, professional, respectful, kind & even with a touch of humour! She has helped me in my recovery & I trust her implicitly-a breath of fresh air! Thank you Dr Woudstra!!!!

Absolutely love Dr. Woudstra! Hate having to give her such an awesome rating because then more people are going to want her! So accommodating for making office visits more accessible for working parents. Easy to talk to - LISTENS! - that is so important. Has a great sense of humour - did I mention she LISTENS?!?! We've had her since she started in Shawnigan Lake - and even tho we've moved out of the area - we are keeping her as our gp.

We moved here and I was having many issues that I had ignored for far to long. I contacted the clinic, and found that Dr. Woudstra was taking new patients. During my first appointment, I was advised of the one issue per appointment policy, which made complete sense to me. I said, I have a LIST, she said, perfect, I'll be getting to know you very well over the next couple weeks. I booked appointments for the next 2 weeks, every single day. I've never had to wait for my appointment. She is not the type to push drugs. She has listened to my concerns. I became critically ill, with a lot of surgical complications. How many Dr's do you know that will give you their home # and cell phone # in the event I needed her?. In fact, my aging mother, who's Dr. in Duncan, FLIES thru the door, gives her prescriptions, and sends her on her way, is switching! Trudy is amazing, warm, caring, and knowledgeable. Looking for Dr. who will pump you full of drugs? go to Duncan!

Dr. Woudstra is a wonderful GP. She is punctual, direct, listens deeply and is very good at discovering what the problem is.I trust her and her ability to diagnose and refer.We have had some very helpful discussions.
