He is a very poor Dr. Thinks I was making things up. Told me when I was doubled over in pain and was taking to the Hospital by Ambulance I wasted my time and money. What I have he told me I have to grin and bear it. Throw my Family Medical papers at me across desk told me he doesn't like filling out by legally has to (with student Dr. in the room when he did this.) Told me I have to deal with my head aches, which is not my problem, I'm coming to see him for something different. Asked me how does my work put up with me. I was in tears before I left the room he didn't seem to care that he made me cry. His nurse Anne is very nice and caring. Women at the counter are very rude. I've changed DR. for the better but that didn't take to much to find someone better.

Dr. Maruska give my Dad the wrong diagnosis. Has to be taken to ER when finally bad enough to see he was suffering from heart failure. Had ordered a bunch of tests the week before going to ER that had nothing to do with the heart. Was sent home after saty in the hospital still sick. Was admitted to ICU still sick. Told the patient and family the patient had 8 hours to live. Patient was given blood in ICU and was still alive the next day getting better. This Dr. is HORRIBLE! DO NOT go to him!! Over looks a lot of information and has terrible bedside manner!

Doesn't keep up to date on medical things including mental illness. Brushes patients off as if they're hypochondriacs until patient is on their death bed. Then it's too late to find a different dr because you have so much medical history that another dr. will not take you because they would have to start over.Personality wise, has a great personality but is in the wrong field. His nurse, Annie, is wonderful and helpful and actually cares about the patients but phone nurse is rude. What are we paying for if these drs aren't trained also in the mental health field. He believes that everything wrong with them is because of have some sort of mental illness. It's time to train drs. Not let them put patients down. Mental illness is not any different than having heart disease or diabetes, etc

I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. If you do not have health insurance, you receive very minimal care and treatment. When admitted to the hospital, he did not show up until 8 hrs later to order any treatment. No tests were done to determine diagnosis. Then releases you and hopes that you improve. When patient did not improve and was again admitted to hospital, he did not show up for 2 days. He was taken off the case.

When Dr. or his nurse are with you they are concerned about your needs not watching the clock. He was also my mothers Dr. during her Alzhiemers and was so patient & caring when talking to her.
